The console market is basically playing catch up to the PC market in that regard, where statistics like ARPU has been a thing for a decade or so. Although in this case, it has less to do with the big open world games that Supermallet is looking at and more so at online multiplayer games where additional content is regularly produced to keep or bring back user involvement.

I buy tons of games, and haven't even started a lot of them because a lot of them you need to keep playing or you get lost with either what is going on or the controls.
A lot of time when I can play a game, I'm just tired and want to chill and watch videos or something.

That's my problem with Arkham Knight. I played through about 80% of the game and then got caught in the middle of buying a house and moving and taking care of things that need to be done, etc. Then all of a sudden 2-3 months slip by and I can't remember the combos/controls to hop into the end of the game and not get my ass handed to me.

I've always been a single-player, non-online, one-at-a-time gamer. If I liked a game enough to get at least an hour into it, I've also almost always played it all the way through.
I typically play a large game, and then once completed, play through a few smaller games that PS+ has thrown my way. After a few of those, I'll go into another large game.

I don't have much time at all but here's the thing....I don't watch much TV at all - I have a handful of shows I like and that's it.
I don't really play during the week (some weeks I might get 2-3 hours in) but I find that on weekends, where most people turn the tv on to watch their shows, that's when I game. Yes, sometimes I get carried away and play for hours but the way I look at it, I'm having a ton of fun so why wouldn't I?
During the summer, I don't really game at all.
I kind of like not having much time though because It makes me very picky with what I play instead of just buying every damn game that comes out.

Sums me up perfectly. Only on Xbox.
