Ever cheat in a game?
I usually don't like to, but when a little help is needed or get stuck really bad, I'll use a FAQ or something or ask here, obviously.

Re: Ever cheat in a game?
I never use cheats until I have completed a game. After that I am open to using cheats if it will mean I can replay the games and enjoy it in a different way.
I think that it would be great for every game to come with a cheat option/selection on the main menu. Easy enough to include and gives everyone the option to complete the game. I complete every game I play, but there are a lot who give in before reaching the end.

I cheated more in the Nintendo days, using codes like the Konami code for Contra, or other codes like entering Zelda as your name, the long Punch Out codes to start at particular fighters, or on PC and codes like IDKFA for Doom

I use guides/faqs for the longer more involved games I play like RPG's and the like. More so I don't miss any secret areas/treasure chests/etc then needing help with the game. There are plenty of these type of games with missable stuff and as an adult I don't have the time to replay an 80 hour game to get stuff I missed.

I did too for extra lives or weapons or whatever in older games. In modern games I try to play through "clean" on my first try.

I enjoyed God Mode in the original Wolfenstein 3-D. I could kill bosses with my knife.

I used to use the FUND code in Sim City all the time.
I also used to use the invincibility cheat in Goldeneye and pretend I was the Saint of Killers from Preacher.
