One of the things that trophies made me realize is one of my friends never finishes any of the games he buys. He purchases almost every new big-title release, but never has the trophy for game completion. He'll just play for a while and then move on.

As for myself, I normally finish every game I start, assuming I end up liking it enough to play for an hour or more. The last one that I played through more than 50% and then quit on was Brutal Legend. Loved that game up until the RTS portion kicked into high gear, and I just couldn't get through it.
