Help identifying OLD PC game...
Hey, All...
Back in the early 1990's, I remember playing a 2 player game that we required a Serial cable connection between two PCs in order to facilitate the 2player mode...
I remember it having traditional Japanese cartoon graphics and was a turn-based missle attack game.
You would plot your attack and hit Go.... Then the screen would scroll as it followed your missiles to the other player's area of the island and showed the damage that you caused. In between, there were briefing scenes of anime commanders who would give you pointers, etc... I remember the graphics being in the same style as Advance Wars on the GBA....
Here's a link to a pic of Advance Wars that reminds me of the overall style:
Does that ring a bell?
Thanks,
Matt!

Re: Help identifying OLD PC game...
Gun Bound is getting a bit warmer.
In my game, you had to build bases and missle silos on your island. Then plan your attack. I remember the screen would scroll vertically as you followed your missle into enemy territory.
Uggh...

remember the OS? "early-90's" seems a little early for those graphics. Win95?
here's a list of serial-cable games, go nuts: http://www.mobygames.com/attribute/s...buteId,84/p,2/

Speaking of Advanced Wars -- is there anything like this on Android? When I search, I get these over the top resource management style games. I'm looking for the simplicity AW offered.
