You will get another one at Level 25 but they just piss me off. I just get a bunch of crap out of them. It's got to be less than a 10% chance of getting something good.

Re: Pokemon GO (IOS/Android)

Spent $5 to buy 3 incubators and will probably buy an egg or two. With this event, I ended up walking quite a bit in Long Beach tonight and used an egg to quickly level up as I evolved Pokemon I didn't have. There were easily a couple hundred people playing tonight at The Pike.

Re: Pokemon GO (IOS/Android)

Caught soooo many rare pokemon this weekend at The Pike in Long Beach. Easily walked a marathon in 2 days and did some major damage on candy, stardust, and my Pokedex. I am hoping they come out with a new event soon as that was a lot of fun.

Anyone use a music or radio app over Bluetooth in the car while running Pokémon?

I listen to radio from back home in my car and run Pokémon while I'm driving.

Lately when I do that, the volume from the radio app lowers significantly and it didn't do that before the Halloween update.

Re: Pokemon GO (IOS/Android)

The Halloween update is temporary. See if it goes back to normal after it's over (still going!!).

Re: Pokemon GO (IOS/Android)

I wish the Halloween stuff would end already, I don't see nearly as many Pidgeys because of it.

Shush!!! I got 52 Dragonite candies, 40 away from a Dragonite!!

Re: Pokemon GO (IOS/Android)

I never thought I'd see someone wishing for more Pidgeys. I'll take the variety while we've got it.

The double candy has been really nice, as well, and the Buddy bonus. I walked something like 80 Km with Magicarp to get to 400 candies, then switched over to Snorlax.

Maxflier 11-01-16 01:49 PM

Re: Pokemon GO (IOS/Android)

I only want more pidgeys because that's mainly what I use to level. And leveling up and holding gyms is all I really care about nowadays. Getting the new ones for Halloween was nice, but I really have no need for anymore useless meowths, ghastlys, etc. Agree though, that the double candy was indeed nice.

GoVegan 11-01-16 03:25 PM

Re: Pokemon GO (IOS/Android)

Yeah, I get that, but the double candy basically makes Meowths and Gastlys the same as Pidgeys at the moment. I went from 26 to 28 during this event from evolving Halloween stuff.

Happened to everyone, sadly. Only annoying thing about the update.

So I think we will be getting another event soon. I am hoping Thanksgiving, but could be Christmas. This game makes about $2 million a day from a report I saw the week before the event. During this event, it made over 100% more in profit with I believe a 3 day gross of over $10 million. For people saying this game is dead, that's far from true with $2 million a day and then a huge increase thanks to the event. I even dropped $5 to hatch some eggs.

Found a couple Charmander nests, was able to get a Charizard finally. :)

Yeah, I finally spent money (although it was google opinion money), $5 to get some incubators. The payout to hatch a semi-rare pokemon was just too great to pass up this week.

Re: Pokemon GO (IOS/Android)

:( The event finally ended. I was looking forward to getting a little bit more candy from walking while it was still easier.

I experience the same with podcasts (Overcast app) and earphones.

Damn, being moderately crippled has sucked ... I missed out on a lot. I did manage to snag enough Ghastly and Haunter to evolve a Gengar (or whatever it is), a Cubone into a Marowak, and evolve a Meowth into a Persian.

Professor Willow has discovered that Pidgey & Rattata no longer hatch from Eggs. He also found that Eevee now hatches from 5 km Eggs only.

Maxflier 11-04-16 06:05 PM

Re: Pokemon GO (IOS/Android)

Hatched a Pidgey yesterday and a Rattata literally 2 minutes ago.

Re: Pokemon GO (IOS/Android)

Maybe the next update? I'm hoping it is true since I hate seeing Eevee after walking 10k.

Egg hatches are determined when you spin the stop, not when you hatch.

FastPokeMap shut down :( I guess Niantic finally find a way to block their access, this sucks as it was a pretty good resource for searching.

Re: Pokemon GO (IOS/Android)

And now Pokestops are speed-limited.

Maxflier 11-07-16 02:37 PM

Re: Pokemon GO (IOS/Android)

I was wondering if that was the case because I have had several tell me to try again later today. Bummer.
