The game really is beautiful and a delight to play. Whether its worth $20 is up for debate. For me personally i think the price is justified. The game may not last very long, and have limited replay value, but the journey through it is a joy, it does invest the player enough to want to play through more than once, and its just nice to play a game thats different from the usual shooting, blowing shit up and multiplayer type crap that hits the shelves week after week. Nice to also have a game that doesn't require any huge day one updates.

Also, i found it nice to actually play a game that i could complete in a reasonable amount of time. I have way too many games on my shelf waiting to be played that i know will require anywhere between 20-100 hours more gameplay on my part. In recent months i have pumped in a serious amount of gaming hours on a number of titles i have picked up since around August. Feeling kinda burnt out by the constant play and slow overall progression in getting games struck off the list (i guess Skyrim has once again taken up a large part of my time....but i get so damn invested in that game. On the flip side i got MW: Remastered and flew through that in a day. Its the open world games that suck me in).

So it depends on what you want. If you need every game to have 40+ hours of gameplay then you will e let down. However, if you like a game tht has been made with a hell of a lot of tender loving care, then this will go down a treat.

is there a liberal save system or does game just start up where you left off?

I think there are around 65 points in the game where it automatically saves. So don't worry too much about saving. If you turn off and come back later you won't have far to go in getting back to where you were before.

I played through the game in two sittings. Absolutely brilliant and a great way to kick off the first completed game for 2017.

I bought this and Limbo on Steam last weekend for about $13. Great stuff!

I have to say, I was disturbed by the last portion of Inside. It just really creeped me out. Actually, I found the water guys pretty creepy, too. Great atmosphere for the entire game.

It's funny that in Limbo I kept getting pissed off at how easily you could drown, then in Inside, you're like a fish. Maybe a lot of people complained, so they went overboard in retaliation.
