Re: Resident Evil 7
Played it throughout the weekend and had a blast. Got the dirty coin so it will transfer with my save file to the full version. I found this to be more enjoyable than the RE action the series was taking.

It was actually kind of nauseating (at least for me). As long as I was standing still, it was really cool to look around in the rooms. But once you start moving more than a couple steps, it really started to hit me. I stopped after about 5 mins because that's all I could take. It was creepy as fuck though.

Re: Resident Evil 7
This made me more nauseos than any other FPS and not in the good way. Will try for the true ending sometime, but I seem to always get infected...

Is this game scary though? I just got done finishing outlast and the whistle-blower DLC and it was hands down the scariest damn game ever - I had to get in the right frame of mind before playing it lol.
Is this anywhere near that level??

BTW, did you play the Outlast 2 demo yet? I just played through it over the weekend. That was pretty damn creepy too.

I think it's a lot more creepy with the headset then on a TV screen. But like I said before, I got pretty nauseous playing it that way. And since I ended up sending my headset back anyways, I'll play through it the normal way. Since this is the first Resident Evil game done in first person, I'm sure there will be plenty of jump scares.

I've played this demo a couple times and not really sure what to think. It doesn't feel like Resident Evil at all and seemed like it would be a better side story and should not have the 7 next to it's title. Good for Capcom for trying something different but time will tell if this is another nail in the Resident Evil series.
On another note, how could Capcom miss a golden chance to do a series overview book for it's 20th anniversary? The Tomb Raider series got a really nice one and Resident Evil deserved the same.

Honestly I want to know more of the REMAKE for part 2, hope it's still being developed and going smoothly.

yeah feel the same, tried it 2 weeks ago (XB1)... but BB is trying to temp me on getting, because they sent me "Here's $10 off any purchase just for you – use by 1/28" email yesterday. (funny how it expires 1 day after the release) + with GCU it will be $38 before tax.

Re: Resident Evil 7
So I played the teaser demo and really liked it - thought it was nice and creepy and I dug the nod to the blair witch.
Question though, the demo I played was very limited - it ends once you open the back door - but yet online I see people doing a ton of other stuff. Do I need to pay extra for something else to play more or are there very hidden secrets to unlock more stuff elsewhere (which I don't think so)?

I did see that there is a separate download for a biohazard extension....do I need that?

There was an update for the demo for VR support, but I don't believe that added more endings. You could probably use these guides to find the secrets.

Resident Evil 7 Biohazard is coming to Microsoft's Xbox Play Anywhere program. Gamers who digitally purchase the game can play it on Xbox One or PC without needing to buy an additional copy.
As part of the program, gamers can save progress, DLC, "Gamerscore and Achievements to Xbox Live," and continue their game on "another Xbox One or Windows 10 PC."
