In a way, so to speak. Potentially has the best taunt in the game. Has an auto-taunt when players drop below a certain health level. Plus has good defense up capabilities. But terrible offense.

The only other DS taunter right now is the Stormtrooper.

Shard Locations: Data Cards, Light Side 3-C, Dark Side 4-D, Light Side 8-D, and Cantina Shipments

So you could get him using Catina or farming 3-C or 4-D.

Thanks. I guess I'm used to my light side playstyle where I use Chewie/Poe to taunt. I don't have that yet for the dark side.

Also, who to focus on first for cantina shipments? Fives, Daka, Fett, Poe? I have a 3* Poe already FYI.

PvP and GW are slow going for me. I can buy one PvP shipment a day and maybe one GW shipment every other day. I'm still focusing on Sid for PVP, currently a 4* (whatever his default is) and Lumi for GW.

Fives and Poe are so similar, and Poe is so much better, I wouldn't go for him unless you plan to run an all clones team for synergy.

If you don't want to upgrade Poe, I would go for Daka as she is the only DS healer of any value and will really help you with campaign mode. But if were me, i would go for Boba Fett b/c he's FUCKING BOBA FETT!!! :)

As for Arena and GW, what is your strategy? I was really landlocked until after experimentation, I now go right after their healer with full FP and hope to kill him before Chewie/Poe taunts. I typically leave anyone with a auto-counter until last and then just gang up on him. Also, only target one enemy at a time, they will go down much faster. I also like to use toons with a double shot or assist chance like GS, FOTP or Greedo. Finally, keep everyone in good health. Once you have Lumi AND JC, that's much easier. Don't forget Chewie has a great self-heal which works wonders when he's the taunter and gets worn down.

You can win GW. Don't worry about levels. Use the retreat option liberally. Find the right combination.

Yeah, hard to resist the Fett.

Same strat as I tend to use. I try to take out healers first but usually don't have the firepower to knock them out before a taunt. I have GS and FOTP and need to invest more in them. I'm gear blocked on Chewie's last skill as I don't have that campaign mission unlocked yet so I can't get the part.

Didn't realize there was a retreat button in GW. Does that reset the team you will fight next?

My Arena wall is I'm ranked 3300-ish and the only teams avail for me to fight against (yes, I'm refreshing too) have power scores in the 9k-10k range. My power is 8k at best. Guess that means I need to focus on upgrading skills and gear.

No, nor does it remove status effects, but it will give you the chance to see what works and what doesn't.

PVP on my server is not fun right now. If I can crack the top 200, I won't stay there by the time 6pm rolls around. I should have 6* Sid, 7* Lumi, and purple gear Poe by Sunday so maybe that'll help get me over the hump.

I keep looking at who to farm after Sidious is complete in the next two weeks but no one really tickles my dick. I don't have a droid team to justify either HK-47 or IG-88. My light side/tanks will be fine without ST Han. Asajj is strong on my team, but I'm not sure if I want to invest in her further. Ackbar doesn't seem to fit with my team in a way to convince me to add him.

Genosian Soldier? He packs a mean punch and is really farmable. Otherwise I would probably recommend Kylo or FOTP if you have the nodes open.

I will say that some folks LOVE Biggs. He doesn't have a taunt, but his turn meter bonus is great, especially if you can work a Rebel team.

I would also recommend Rey. But she is so OP right now there is talk of a nerfing (her and Poe)

I'll look into Biggs because then Ackbar will make more sense post-Sidious. I can happily do a Rebel team and leave a warm spot for Wedge whenever he decides to show up.

I see. For arena, you could make a speculative move. Many folks on the forums think that Han is broken and is due for a massive buff (to Poe levels). Ventress has some nice exposes you could use though.

I have both of them already too. Asajj is a better option than ST Han because 1) she's already purple gear, 2) I use her in every team already, and 3) she's going to stay on my DS team anyway.

ST Han would make sense on that Biggs/Ackbar Rebel team we were just talking about along with Luke that I already have. I'd probably keep Lumi on that team in lieu of a 5th Rebel and since ST Han basically replaces Poe at top levels.

Ackbar is really strong in PVP but not as helpful in PVE where there are fewer negative status effects thrown around.

Ran into Big Spendy on 12/12 GW last night and just could not beat him no matter what. His entire team when before one of mine every time and I must have tried 50 times to find the right combo and nothing worked. I'll have Poe by the end of the weekend so that will help.

Working on DS/Lumi gears today, I hope to have them to L6 by the end of the weekend but currently node blocked on one piece right now...

Managed to make it into the top 1000, pretty nice. Only reason is because I got Lumi and DS. Finally feel like I have a really good lineup.

Finally got a decent pull from a Bronze pack - 15 JC shards. Big help towards increasing his * level.

Still not sure if I want to push Lumi past 4* right now or just work towards unlocking Phasma. She seems like a really great character to have.

I would say get Phasma but then immediately go back to Lumi. You do need to progress in Dark Side battles.

Lumi is mine at my reset in approx 5 hours! Finally!

I ended up going for Fett too cuz he's F'ing Boba Fett.

What is the consensus on upgrading heroes' abilities/skills? I've upgraded JC's heal and some of Sid's skills but that's it. Does it really help? Spend 'em if you got 'em type of thing?

Oh yeah, FOTP rocks! Mine is only 1* and level 42 with gear 3 or 4. He is a glass cannon and will die when someone farts in his general direction but man he's saved my butt many times with his bonus and crit shots.

BF will be my first purple level gear character since you only need to be level 51. Lumi and DS both have to be 53.

Lumi is great and will help you big time. She's about to hit 6 stars for me. Once I hit 7 I'll move on to Phasma.

From what I've read FOTP is great as long as you have Poe. Chewie is too slow and FOTP will be dead before he even gets off a taunt.

After reading the forums some more, I decided just to keep going with Lumi and put Phasma on the back burner for now. Lumi is better for GW which is really what I need to be concentrating on beating right now.

Lumi is now 7*. Sid is 6*. Poe has purple gear. Phasma is racing to catch up. Daka will join the crew by tomorrow. Vader will unlock just after. This will be a day long remembered!

I'm really glad people talked me out of spending money in this game. It really just doesn't make sense unless you spend lots of money. Only thing I would ever think about spending money on (aside from a special bundle) is crystals for energy. Speaking of which, with the crystal "subscription" does it need to be $5 or more spent for it to show up, or is buying the $4.99 pack enough?

Another interesting pull from a Bronze today - Ewok Elder. Has some very unique heals and basically used him as a pawn in GW to provide an emergency heal when JC and Lumi are in cooldown. I doubt I'll ever star him but I will probably keep him trained to Level and geared up for the most part.

I have fucking had it with how OP Dooku is. Finally make a return trip to 12/12 on GW and it's down to my Sid and his Dooku. I need 1 more hit on him. Except Dooku gets to go SEVEN FUCKING TIMES IN A ROW to beat me. Couldn't even retreat. He has to be nerfed. It's ridiculous.
