What the shit is the deal with guys coming back to life after you've killed them? I'm not talking about when someone is healing, but just randomly right after they died? I just had a PVP fight where fucking Sidious came back like 8 times.
I think I'm ready to bail on this game, I barely even "play" it anyway, I just sim/auto pretty much every fight anyway... whats the point?

Also curious about these "boost" packs. Honestly, if it works like speculated - provides shards, mats, training droids and credits - it could be a massive way for P2P to compete a little better with P2W or to get more of the characters they like/building without having to spend a fortune. I would spend $20 or so on a Daka boost pack to get her to level up. Saves a ton of time and resources.

At 10:1 shard shop rip-off that's 3,300 regular shards. At 5 shards per 400 arena/cantina/GW tokens, that's 3,300/5*400=264,000.
If it somehow costs more than that ungodly amount, I'll be shocked.

Actually, maybe he does. Remember when I assumed Grievous would be available at the same 10:1 ratio as other shard shop purchases? Boy, was I wrong!
You get 5 for 1,125.
So, let's math...

And I'm telling you, he's not even that good. Low health and low speed. Seems to synergize well with droids, but most F2P don't have 88 and 47 starred up where they need to.
I'm not giving up two months of building time for GG. He's cool but not worth it.

Seems like you're doing just fine. Are you working on Talia and Chewie just through hard missions? I wouldn't do them through Cantina as there's always someone better (Rey, Kylo, Luke, Jedis for Yoda, etc)

I've not wanted to say it for I know it will curse me, but I auto through GW at this point, everyone surviving the whole thing 95% of the time. I'm usually ranked between 150-250 in arena. I seldom even see lvl 60 teams in GW anymore.
I use Sid Lvl 63 7* G7, Lumi Lvl 63 7* G7, JC Lvl 63 4* G8, Eeth Koth Lvl 61 5* G7, and Chewie Lvl 60, 5*, G6. Total Power 21,120.

I keep my arena rank between 200-300, so that obviously doesn't make a difference.
My squad is Lvl 63 Bariss 4* G7, Lvl 63 HK-47 5* G7, Lvl 62 Sid 6* G7, Lvl 61 Lumi 4* G7, Lvl 61 JC 4* G8. Total power is 18,720. So my squad power doesn't make a difference either. I get completely outmatched. Constantly. All my other characters are only in the rank 50's and under. If I try to bring them in just to weaken the opponent, it doesn't work cuz they end up getting killed in 1 hit because they're 10+ levels below the enemy. GW can suck my ass.

Yes. Talia and Chewie are being farmed through Hard missions. Geonoshian Soldier is the only thing I am after right now in Cantina battles and Qui Gon Jinn is my redeemable character in there. Lately I've been getting stuck against unbeatable teams in Galactic War Node 7/8 so it has been slow going in upgrading Luminara.

Hard not to make an argument for Dooku though. I open up node 6 on Catina tomorrow. Barriss is the focus for the return of Yoda, need 85 shards before then.

17/10 = 1.70
13/8 = 1.625
When you are spending 360 energy/day, that yields 630, 612, 585 tokens respectively. So, if you are going for someone there, maybe it makes more sense to go for Barriss/Dooku (1.75) over GS (1.625).

I think my next GW project is going to be resistance pilot. I got him from a bronze and haven't really done much with him, but I've faced him a few times in GW and he hits almost as hard as GS. might be a nice plug in character for RNG manipulation on an assist from time to time. Working on Poggle now, and may sprinkle in a shipment of RP when I can manage to clear GW from time to time to see how he works out.
