Sadly I only finished 12 games last year. Aiming for a much higher comnpletion count this year.

1.Red Dead Redemption- Played on Xbox 360. Time Played : 23 HRS. 41 MIN.
I loved this game so much. One of the best games from Last Gen. Holding off on Undead Nightmare to play in October :)

2.Gremlins 2- Played On NES Emulator ROM Time To Complete: 45 MIN. Yes I used Game Genie :)

3. Uncharted 2 HD- Played On PS4. Time Played: N/A
Still one of the best games I've ever played.

Re: Definitive 2016 Finished/Unfinished Report Card Thread

I want to keep better track of the games that I have to play, especially since I game on the PC, XBox One, and Playstation 4 now. I won't count stuff like NBA 2K or Destiny that I'll play continuously, but at least i'll track the single player games. I don't think i'll revisit my 3DS anymore throughout the year, I think i've lost interest in it.

January
1/2 - Shovel Knight (XB1) - Still need to play the expansion, Plague of Shadow, but I finished the main campaign so i'm considering this complete. Super fun game, absolutely loved it.
1/18 - Valiant Hearts (XB1) - Fun little game, I really enjoyed the "history lesson" aspect of it going through World War 1. Not a whole lot of gameplay, but a decent story and great art style made it appealing. Sad too.
1/24 - Undertale (PC) - Enjoyable, but way overrated. Don't really understand the GOTY hype but its a cute game with some sweet moments and good music. The "meta" aspect is neat, but not a fan of the initial ending.
1/31 - Rise of the Tomb Raider - Baba Yaga: Temple of the Witch (XB1) - Fun DLC, they do a good job mixing the mythology of Baba Yaga in with the main game and extending the singe player action for a couple more hours.

February
2/7 - Deadpool (XB1) - Fun diversion with good humor that captures the character well. Gameplay is repetitive and animations are choppy with a bit of stuttering on this port. Wasn't as good as it should have been, but not a terrible way to spend a few hours button mashing.

March
3/5 - Uncharted 2 Remastered (PS4) - Enjoyed revisiting this one, although honestly the story didn't hold up as well as I remembered it. For all the complaints about poor villains in games like Tomb Raider, Lazarevic was pretty poor himself. The other characters like Flynn and Chloe make up for it though. Gameplay and environments are still great. Some of the shooting sequences were still iffy though.
3/25 - Day of the Tentacle Remastered (PC) - Haven't played this in awhile, but it's one of my favorite adventure games of all time. Still super fun and enjoyable.

5/8 - Quantum Break (XB1) - Enjoyable romp, a little lacking in gameplay and shorter then I hoped, but good story and interesting concepts.
5/25 - Uncharted 4 (PS4) - Great game. Best looking game i've ever seen, and a fantastic conclusion to Nate's story.

June
6/18 - Until Dawn (PS4) - Very enjoyable horror/adventure. Not too much replayability, but a fun story and nice to see choices that matter in this kind of setting.

July
7/5 - Ratchet & Clank (PS4) - Enjoyable, but I didn't really see the hype or overwhelming review scores. Gameplay is fun, but found only a few of the weapons actually useful and the story and humor didn't do much for me.
7/9 - Inside (XB1) - Fun game, but a bit overrated. Entire game is a bit of a mind fuck, but the ending let me down. Fun play through, but not sure how much replayability there is unless you want to really get in to figuring out the meaning of the game.
7/17 - South Park The Stick of Truth (360/XB1) - Hilarious RPG, wish the combat was a little deeper but the story and humor were fantastic.

November
11/13 - Gears of War 4 (XB1) - Fun game, felt like a little bit was missing compared to Gears 1-3 but a fun return to the series.

Looks like I only made it through 13 games last year, but I sank incredible amounts of time into Bloodborne, Witcher 3 and Metal Gear Solid. If I'd stuck to solely 10-15 hour games, I probably would've finished at least 30.

Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone - PS4 - 10/10 - The game was a 10/10 and this was an entirely on-par expansion of the game, so I have no problem giving it the same score.
The Talos Principle - PS4 - 8/10 - An outstanding puzzle game comparable to Portal 2 in terms of cleverness and fun, though without the humor that made Portal 2 just about pefect.
Until Dawn - PS4 - 7/10 - Good performances and decent b-horror writing overcome some shoddy design choices. A must for horror movie fans, a pass for everyone else.

The Witness - PS4 - 5/10 - An extremely uneven game. Puzzles range from incredibly clever to cheaply obtuse. The island is occasionally wonderful and occasionally stupid, but mostly hovers near boring. What substitutes for a story is basically Jonathan Blow sniffing his own farts and asking the player to join in admiring their rich fragrance.
Lego Marvel's Avengers - PS4 - 6/10 - Too many bugs, too few fun secrets and the lack of many major Marvel heroes made this feel like a pretty big step back from the first Lego Marvel game.

Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin - PS4 - ?/10 - Didn't finish this one, but am finished with it. I've had too many online issues, coupled with most of my 15 hours with the game being replaying sections I'd already played. Bloodborne was tough, but felt fair and like I progressed. 15 hours into this and the difficulty just felt cheap and annoying. Keeping my preorder for III in the hopes that it's more Bloodborne than II.
Just Cause 3 - PS4 - 8/10 - While the world itself could've been more diverse and felt more alive, the traversal tools are brilliant. As repetitive as it can be, I never really got tired of flying around the world, looking for one more outpost to destroy.

Life is Strange - PS4 - 9/10 - One of the medium's best efforts in storytelling so far and the 'detective' work in this felt worlds above what's typically found in games, e.g. LA Noire. Outside hitting a handful of bugs in my playthrough, my only real gripes would be occasionally inconsistent tone due to design choices and that they interjected collectibles that felt shoehorned in and broke the immersion. Still, an excellent effort well worth the time of anyone interested in games as a narrative medium.
Ratchet & Clank - PS4 - 9/10 - The series' first PS4 outing doesn't disappoint. This entry nearly perfectly captures the simple joy of finely tuned (if a bit on the easy side) action platforming. It's lighthearted and fun and the weapons live up to the standards of past titles.

Quantum Break - Xbone - 8/10 - A must play for those who love a quality sci-fi story and a skip for those who value gameplay above all else. The writing and acting are great throughout (and emphasized by the live action episodes), but the gameplay is lousy overall, capped by an end-game boss fight that felt ridiculous and cheap.
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End - PS4 - 9/10 - An excellent story for the series to end on. The gunplay, which has always been Uncharted's biggest weakness to me, continued to be a pain in the ass and kept it from being a 10/10. I did think the stealth was surprisingly well done and made it through several areas with tons of enemies just by sneaking around and offing them one by one.
Star Wars: Battlefront - PS4 - 6/10 - I've been holding off on rating this thinking I'd eventually spend more time with it, but it's looking like the 15 or so hours I spent on it last winter are going to be it. Beautiful visuals and a lot of initial fun running around in the Star Wars universe on a current gen console, followed by disappointment at a relatively shallow and repetitive experience.

Dark Souls 3 - PS4 - 7/10 (based on ~20 hours gameplay) - Despite my love of Bloodborne, I just can't get into the Souls series. I made it quite a ways into this as a pyromancer, hit a wall where my build was making the game ridiculously overly difficult and just couldn't care enough to keep pushing on. I think the story is the culprit. Part of what I loved about Bloodborne was its integration/interpretation of Lovecraftian mythology. The kindled/embered/whatever storyline from Dark Souls never grabbed me and was just a boring backdrop to the game.

Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens - PS4 - 7/10 - I'm about Lego'd out, but still picked this up due to reviews, affinity for TFA and how long it's been since a Lego Star Wars title. I'd probably rank it second behind the first Marvel game. It's fairly fun, but the formula is just about played out for me. I got a platinum in probably 11-12 hours of gameplay and it mostly felt like going through the motions at this point. Would've been an 8/10 or higher if it'd been my first Lego game.
Child of Light - Xbone - 8/10 - I'm not usually a fan of turn-based RPGs, but this one managed to suck me in. The artistic design is quite charming and it's a very pleasant, if somewhat light, experience.

The Order: 1886 (PS4) - B - (Trophy: 100%) - The best production values (visual, sound, voice acting...) I've ever seen in a game. It was definitely a cinematic experience. But that was also its downfall. Too many times you are taken out of "playing" the game to watch a scene unfold. Got distracting towards the end. However, these things were easily overcome and I did enjoy my time playing it.

Infamous Second Son (PS4) - B - (Trophy: 100%) - My first introduction to the Infamous universe. I had a good time playing it. The powers were fun to use and offered variety. However, it got slightly repetitive by the end and I wish the game played differently if you were going for a good or evil playthrough. Thankfully, it was one of the easier open world games I've played and doesn't require too much of a commitment to get the plat.
