Re: Horizon Zero Dawn - PS4

Just quick question, does Forbidden West add to Dawn enough to keep it fresh and new? Thinking I might jump on finally, to a true PS5 game.

HFW takes place about six months after HZD and (IMHO) it does have enough to keep it fresh and new.

Of you enjoyed the melee aspect of fighting in HZD, then you’ll love the melee mechanic and weapons in the sequel.

I need to get back to it. I put 75 hours into it last year and only got 54% done… then I got really busy.

One day soon.

You loved the original game, and the sequel is rated 88 on metacritic. I played them nearly back to back and enjoyed both. My vote is you play it.

They are similar enough that me personally I would put some space in between playing the sequel and the playing the first game.

Yup. I thought about it and with your glowing review Quest, gonna start on Jedi Survivor next.

I would take a break. I was so burnt out after 100% this, I haven't started the sequel and it's been almost a year.

Same. I bought it around Black Friday last year when it was down to around $35 new. Still haven't started it even though I loved the first. Eventually...
