I wonder if there will be a discount for those of us who already own both of these games digitally. I'm not counting on it but it would be nice to not have to pay full price.

I know Death Stranding Directors Cut will only cost $10 to upgrade if you have the PS4 version. Hope that's the same for UC.

Really nice that you don't have to already both in order to qualify for the $10 upgrade. Wasn't expecting that.

Hoping for some multiplayer updates with this. It's a fun time, but hasn't received add-ons in years.

Late to the party but I'm about halfway thru this game on my PS5 and it's amazing. Everything has been done top notch. The writing, the "acting", it's all done cinematically and equivalent to a well done movie. The puzzles are challenging but not ridiculous - which I can appreciate as I really want to move on with life and not get saddled down. Great, great game.

Not much later than me. I played earlier in the year. The game is ridiculously animated and gorgeous. Nobody does character animations like Naughty Dog, they really are unrivaled. The supporting cast and story are fantastic. Where the game (and series) falters for me is puzzles and exploring. The series is still far too linear for my tastes and the puzzles are pretty lightweight. There's no reason to go hunting for collectables.

I much prefer Tomb Raider for the exploring, collecting/upgrades, puzzles and even action (Uncharted's best weapon can't compare to Lara's bow).

I tend to view both franchises as two halves of one coin. Where one excels (Uncharted with characters, animation, & story) Tomb Raider falters (It's the Lara show vs. some lame villain with a supernatural slant). While Tomb Raider kicks ass at action, puzzles and exploring, Uncharted falls short.

Both are A+ franchises but Uncharted is a story to be experienced once, while Tomb Raider I'll replay (and have).

Have you played Lost Legacy? That one is a shorter game, but less linear, with more of an overworld and you can choose in what order to explore areas.

Ooh, didn't know that this had dropped down to only $10.
Totally worth it just to have on my console and not have to dig out the old disc, not to mention that remaster aspect of it.
Looking forward to play it again!
The Uncharted stuff wasn't the best Uncharted (didn't care for the flashbacks), but Lost Legacy was fantastic, and probably the best "Uncharted" experience yet.

Just played U4 this year, so...nope. I'll get to it eventually.

Yeah, the gameplay in Uncharted is a bit lacking when compared against Tomb Raider, but both are fun franchises.

Just wrapped up this game. It was excellent. Of all the franchises to not have a new game coming out, it shocks me that there hasn't been a new entry since 2016.

It was their plan to conclude the series with 4, and wrap things up with Lost Legacy, they don’t have any plans to continue.

The multiplayer was great for years, but hasn’t been updated since like 2018. Still running though.

Just finished playing the PS5 remastered edition of this game. What a fun ride that was, from start to finish. I even thoroughly enjoyed
Spoiler:
the epilogue with Cassie Drake. Kind of wished that part went a tad longer. I was also surprised they hired Kaitlyn Dever as Cassie, given how small a role it was. However, given the significance of the sequence, I am glad they got someone with her talent for the role.

I know many debate whether the franchise could go on, given the ending, but I feel it totally can.
Spoiler:
Future games can easily take place between the ending and the epilogue. Or they can continue after the epilogue. Just because Nate and Elena would only pursue legitimate ventures for D & F Fortunes, doesn't mean they couldn't butt heads with less reputable parties with similar interests. Basically make them the video game equivalent of Clive Cussler's Sam and Remi Fargo.

Re: Uncharted 4: A Thief's End (PS4, 5/10/2016)

Today I finally played Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. What a great ride! At first, I was annoyed that Nadine was a co-protagonist, given how much I hated her in Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. In fact, I mused that the only thing worse would be if Sam Drake was hanging out with Chloe instead. But she really won me over as the game progressed
Spoiler:
(and so too did Sam, during his third act participation).
This was a fantastic game and, though I feel they can easily tell more stories with Nate and Elena (and even Cassie) after they went legit, this also works as a way to continue the franchise.
