It's been a year since Microsoft and Sony released their new consoles, and Black Friday hit with great deals on bundles for both systems. And the Wii U seems to have picked up a little momentum thanks to Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros. Do you have a current generation system, or still holding off and waiting? A lot of people owned multiple consoles or all 3 systems last generation; doing the same this time around?

Last generation systems have been included for those that are still waiting or for those of us that have hung on to them and still have them connected to play. Gaming PC is also included for those that use their PC for the latest games, especially with PC ports being common again for big releases.

For me, I received an XBox One for my birthday back in October. Only have a few games, but enjoying Sunset Overdrive and have Destiny and Halo. I still have my PS3 connected to the main TV and have been using it for Blu-ray and Netflix, with the 360 and One connected to the TV in my game room/office. I also have a PC that I game on, everything from new Kickstarter games to Blizzard games and some shooters that I prefer a keyboard/mouse for.

I'll probably get a PS4 when Uncharted comes out. I've somewhat ruled out Nintendo, as I have a 3DS and that's been enough for my Nintendo property fix that I feel like i'm not enjoying as much as I used to.

Out of the ones listed, I finally joined this generation by getting a Wii U with some Dell e-certs a few months ago. Loving it so far, but I plan on picking up a PS4 next year around this time when I have my finances in better order.

I pretty much sat out last generation, although I was roommates with someone who owned a PS3 since its launch and owned a Wii for a brief time. I haven't really "gamed" since the GameCube, and even then I guess it wasn't as much as when I was younger.

Out of the ones you've listed...Wii, Wii U, and PlayStation 3. I am planning on getting a PlayStation 4 at some point in the future.

I also own the following: Nintendo Entertainment System with R.O.B., Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Nintendo 64, GameCube, and PlayStation 2. I also have a Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, and Virtual Boy.

All but the X1. Needs to drop another hundred for me to take one off their hands. After owning both a PS3 & 360 last gen, it wasn't worth owning both for the few exclusives.

I've owned most consoles at least briefly, save the Wii and the current gen. But I'm rapidly collecting Xbox One games, so a console purchase is days, or even minutes, away.

I have a 360, which I've had since 2009. It was a replacement for one I bought in 2005 or 2006. It still works fortunately.

Got the PS4 in April finally. Haven't purchased many games yet. Used some trade credit from dumping my original Wii, all it's games and a few 360 games I didn't play anymore. I had roughly $80 something. I mentioned the ordeal to get a PS4 in the PS4 thread when there was a shortage late last year and early this year.

Don't forsee myself getting XBox One. I have more than enough games and media right now to keep me occupied for months or even years.

Have a pair of PS3s and a Wii. Loving my launch PS4. Planning on a second PS4 for next year. Thinking about a WiiU. Not planning on the XB1 unless there is some combination of crazy price drop/incredible exclusive.

I MAY end up getting a XB1 and a PS4 today on Amazon. Depending on how I feel. The Wii U is still a bit too much for now based on what little I want from it.

I couldn't resist the XBOX1 bundle at Target for $280. I also have a PS3. Like many others, I will pick up a PS4 when Uncharted 4 comes out(that game will be a big system seller for Sony).

Heh? Did you use the $50 gift card immediately and on the bundle? I figured the card would be issued later or it wouldn't be activated until a later date so you can't do that. Nice.

I'm more of a casual gamer. I had a reasonably decent gaming PC and a PS3 for a while. Love the PS3 for all the things it does besides gaming (it's my Blu Ray player for the main tv and I use it every day as a general media center).

Just got a PS4 on a Black Friday run through Best Buy. Just got it hooked up and the process of downloading my free version of "Last of Us". Hopefully it can serve me as well as the PS3.

I had a bunch of Target gift cards saved up so I paid the full $330 plus tax in gift cards and then promptly got a $50 gift card back. So it was only $280 plus tax for me.

Had the PS4 at launch. Picked up the One this month. Probably would have gotten a Wii U instead, for Bayonetta, if Nintendo had budged on the price.

That's a good point -- Why is the WiiU still so damn expensive?
