Since we never got the late run started Friday night I have been picking and choosing some LFG runs of totems, war priest, golgo and sisters on hard mode. Haven't completed a hard mode from start to finish but got some good stuff. Also tried oryx with one group but didn't make much progress. Used the no knight strategy.

Well that normal Oryx fight couldn't go any smoother. Hard mode....well it's hard. Trying to run a Hunter through that is not what I would call enjoyable.

Well, the reset crew had issues this morning. The time change kind of splintered the group, as gold wasn't around right away. I did see him in an LFG raid briefly...hope it went well for him.

Meanwhile, I spent the first hour or so passing off the hard save followed by doing the daily and some bounties. Others did a Nightfall or 3. When we did get around to the raid, it went pretty smooth...until we got to Oryx. Ugh. Patience is running thin with this game. I think people need to remember that we're only in the 3rd week of hard mode here, and it's still a learning process. In the end, we had too many cooks in the kitchen, and it lead to a lot of frustration. The group imploded. So now I have a Totem save and an Oryx save.

My haul:

Still have Nightfalls and raids.

It didn't. I got pulled into a group at the sisters, at the second run my internet took a crap on me, and can't be bothered to get up to reset it. I have to get a new router or something. I think I am pretty much done getting up at reset. 3am is just too early. Starting to lose interest in the game again, cant be bothered to finish the story on my alts, and keep wondering if its worth it to keep running hm on my warlock. Think I may pick up Fallout 4 next week, and take another break from Destiny.

Thanks again for the raid run over the weekend fellas. Glad we got a chance to wrap it up on Sunday night. I ended up with a 306 auto rifle, 303 scout rifle, 304 ghost shell, and a 304 bond. I was in it for the experience more than the drops, so overall I came out happy. I thought the raid was better than Crota, but not as good as VOG. For the time being, Destiny is going to take a break on the shelf and might make some appearances when Xur is in town

Productive night last night. I continued gathering Calcified fragments and have all the stand alone ones you can get from the Dreadnaught and the strikes. I need to grab all the ones acquired from the chests and from runes I guess.

I was able to pick up the Darkblade Helm from the Sunless Cell Strike - I think that is the first strike specific item I have been able to obtain.

Saw Scott was working the Nightfall and joined up on him. We finished it and had Chase join us for the other 2 NF runs. My haul:

believe I am at 44 of the 45 calcified on my lock and if the tracking I was looking at is right I just need mini Crota in CoO to get the 45th (know I have done it but maybe it was a different character, or I didn't initiate it if that is a requirement)

So after yesterday's implosion, some of the reset crew reconvened today and went back to raiding. Instead of finishing up Oryx from yesterday it was decided to start fresh. And again we had a fairly smooth run up to Oryx. At Oryx, Nac had some problems and decided after two bad runs to call it quits. So we brought in a new player and after a few runs we got it done. It wasn't easy, in fact in we were down to 4 people for the last couple of rounds. But we got it done.

My Titan was rewarded with a complete Harrowed armor set. So I got the hard mode shader as well. Not much in the way of weapons, I think I got a rocket launcher and maybe a crappy fusion (302).

We then started another fresh run, this time my Hunter got to play. Again, a smooth run up to Oryx, and then we started having issues. But we pushed forward. We got really close once, but one guy was not covering his platform, and then when he got there he couldn't jump up for some reason. Wiping at 75% always sucks, but that one was rough.

On the next run, we got it. Nobody died, everybody blew their orbs, and Oryx went down. My Hunter got a Harrowed chest and cloak to go with the boots and helmet she already had. Still needs gloves (though I have a 310 normal version).

Got another harrowed rocket launcher (the game loves to give me those), and a fucking 300 hand cannon. Oy. I did get a 3 of coins to drop me a 310 Hawkmoon. Sorry chase.

Still need to beat Oryx with my Warlock.

So finished Hard Raid on Titan this week and finished up to Oryx on Warlock and Hunter.
