They don't carry the Day One SKU as of last week I think, I couldn't find any Day 1s at my store and I checked Target today for good measure, no joy. Someone mentioned on slickdeals I think they ordered like 60 FH2s and got around 15 Day 1s from BB. tl;dr they are surprisingly hard to find

The only difference is like three extra cars. No biggie.

The free Forza Horizon 2/Fast and the Furious DLC is out this week. Standalone and free for the first couple weeks. 1000 gamerscore points on both 360 and One.

Fired up the One to download this and it's coming up unavailable bundle only. I guess it's not out yet?

It's a good 3-4 hours of content. More if you want to chase down some of the extra collectables. Got all 1000 points on the 360 version. It's a smart piece of content.

I know the Fast and the Furious thing is there to sell me on the movie, but geez, it sure did sell me on Forza Horizon 2.

I haven't really been in to racing games in awhile since maybe Burnout Takedown, but downloaded Fast and Furious for shits and giggles and have only spent a little bit of time on it but i'm impressed. Makes me want to get Horizon 2 as well.

The racing lacks a little excitement (it isn't NFS rivals or even driveclub in that regard) but it is fun still and makes up for it with an insane amount of varied content

Any tips on earning skill points in these bucket list challenges? For instance driving this car on the golf course I have no idea how to rack up enough points to pass it. I've always sucked at drifting and things in car games.

I hated that one. A lot of drifting, jumps, damage to fences, etc.
Just DON'T crash. Any time you crash, you don't get any of those points you've racked up.

Yeah, go for the fences.

Forza Horizon 2 Car Pass is half off at $12.50 for Gold members. I figure it's totally worth it remembering how in FH2 any purchased DLC is immediately available for "Free" in-game.

Yeah, somehow I totally missed the half off car pass as well.

Both the Digital Edition of the game and the Storm Island Expansion are 50% off now. I highly recommend that expansion DLC - it's very meaty content (though unlike any other Forza DLC, buying the content does not automatically make those cars available in-game. And you need to make a little campaign progress to unlock the Island).
