Did not at all expect reviews to be so positive. I still want to see some real gameplay before I pay for the game, but it seems like it'll be worth it.

I woke this morning with a Blink Feed link to this ecstatic 5/5 review in Time.com -- not normally known as a sourse of overly-enthusiastic hype-driven videogame reviews. I couldn't be more surprised. This suddenly went from a title I might reluctantly pick up in order to take advantage of the Best Buy GCU deal to a must-buy game at the pre-order price. And this coming from a HUGE R&C fan who wasn't at all impressed with any game clips or ads. Wow, just wow.

I'm not 100% sure you would still get the $10 Reward Zone certificate if you pre-order today. Used to be you had to do it by the Saturday before release. I don't see that wording any more so you're probably okay, but I always put down a $5 early just in case.

There's a good collection of lower reviews in the 60-70 range, but from smaller game sites.

Maybe if I had more time and didn't already have a ridiculous backlog. I also sort of feel like this itch was just scratched by Infamous.

But MS has done a good job with their exclusives this year. PvZ, Titanfall, Forza H2, SO and MCC is a pretty strong lineup.

They have minimum review output requirements, it's one reason why I don't understand why people fawn over Metacritic (which I've never been a fan of). Though aggregates in general seem to be agreeing with the average score for the time being (around 84%)

I'm apprehensive on the games till as I have never played an Insomniac game I've liked from beginning to end, despite many getting rave reviews.

My favorite aspect of R & C was the ridiculous weapons and S.O. has that. The Online MP looks really crazy fun I might actually play an Competitive MP game!
