oh I agree - I was definitely antagonizing - but it bugs me people are so willing to buy the same things over and over again. they should be demanding progress here with these new consoles, not the same old stuff.

I haven't been watching (busy morning today, of course). Did they announce a price on that Halo collection?

edit - Amazon has it up for pre-order for $59.99. Not a bad deal. Might use some of that $200 XBL credit I picked up last week on that collection - maybe.

Amazon's preorder bonus is an exclusive skull. I can't think of anyone who would find this bonus appealing:

That's the way it's always been done. The Halo betas ran through the game UI of whichever was out at the time.

Blame sony and MS for rushing their new systems last year.

It's what I mentioned last year these new systems were rushed a year too early, thats why these newer games are taking longer. If the systems came out this November then the games/lineup would be better and the delays would not seem that bad. Hence the reason for the HD releases.

i wouldn't know, since i'm not a halo fan. but i know people bought preorder of destiny at gamestop to get the beta code, then canceled.
