So the same month that every other game is being released this year.

Seems there might be a possibility getting it on the PS4 & Xo after all...

Borderlands Pre-Sequel Dev Will Consider Xbox One/PS4 Versions if Fans Demand Them

2K Games surprised some people earlier this year when it revealed that the next Borderlands game--Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel--would only be available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. That remains the plan for the upcoming shooter, but there is now a glimmer of hope that it will eventually make it to Xbox One and PlayStation 4, too.

"All the players of Borderlands 2 are all playing on those [last-gen] consoles, that's the choice they've got. So we want to reward those guys and give them the Borderlands Pre-Sequel experience on that console," said 2K Australia's Tony Lawrence in a recently published E3 interview with Gamereactor. "If fans say, 'Hey, we'd really like this on a next-gen console,' well, we'll think about that. But right now, we're concentrating on the consoles we know."

....sad but pretty much right on. They can mark one off their "Sucker List" though...

With this sucker coming out in a couple of weeks, does anybody know the best preorder deal?

I don't know if there are any preorder deals for this game because most people seem to have forgotten it exists.

Nope, Gearbox just forgot that a new generation of hardware exists.

That's what I was getting at. That's the reason everyone forgot. That it exists.

I don't know anymore.

I'll be getting it at Best Buy because of GCU. I'm stoked for it. I'm fully capable of playing my PS4 and my PS3.

I wouldn't pre-order this game. Maybe it's just me, but I have a feeling that if this was going to be a worthy follow-up to the previous titles they would have put it on the new-gen consoles (or at the very least, put it on all of them). That it's getting relegated to last-gen makes me suspicious of its quality. I don't know if they had financial troubles and had to cut the budget, or just don't have enough people working on it, or what, but I'm not setting my expectations too high.

I hope my concerns are all for naught, but we'll see.

My guess would be a b-team developer while Gearbox works on a proper BL3 for next gen.

I will get it when it is 20.99

In all seriousness, I just don't see how they don't bring this out on one/ps4 down the road. I will wait until those versions are 20.

With Destiny out there, I can't see myself playing this for a long time, if ever. That being said, I miss the humor of this franchise.

See, I've gotten a little tired of Destiny (just hit level 25, and I think I'm done for a while), and until the DLC comes out, there's really nothing left in that game for me to see.

Anyways, this looks like it's getting average reviews, similar to Destiny's reviews.

Well, if I were getting tired of Destiny, I'd want to play something completely different, not another FPS/RPG type thing. Yeah, they are vastly different in look and story, but it's same basic stuff: barren wastelands looking for loot and killing whatever comes along.

Like, if I were tired of Battlefield, I wouldn't go play Call Of Duty.

IGN seemed to like it quite a bit: http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/10/...-sequel-review

Polygon also liked it, but not as much: http://www.polygon.com/2014/10/13/65...iew-360-ps3-PC

I'll wait until there is a GOTY edition with all of the DLC for $20 like I did with the last two. We just finished the second one earlier this year, so I'm not itching to play another one right now anyways.

I love the Borderlands games, but I have such a backlog that I'll hold out. It'll most likely show up on PS+ like the others, and right around the time I'm ready to play it, so it should work out well.

I took a chance and pre-ordered it about a month ago. So far so good on the reviews. I haven't seen anything lower than a 7. This far in to the series I'll take that as a positive, since most of them say it's more of the same, which I definitely don't mind. Hopefully I won't have to stand out in front of a dark cave blindly shooting for an hour just to get some mediocre loot. :)

Some shift codes for golden keys for the game:

Xbox 360: KKK3J-T66J3-FZH3X-KFJJ3-JSF6R
PlayStation 3: KKK3J-T66R6-HTF5T-SBKJ3-JSFRJ
PC/Mac/Linux: KKK3J-T66R5-BXC3T-JBJJ3-JSF9T

Oh man! I don't have a Gold account any more (no X1, and not enough 360 games left for it to be worth it), so I can't use the shift codes for golden keys, although I have about 20 unused golden keys from Borderlands 2...

Re: Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel- (PS3, 360, PC) Fall 2014

So, first impressions. If you liked BL or BL2, you will like this. More of the same, with a bunch of additions. Laser guns are awesome. Just hold the trigger, huge clips and just blasting guys. It is very slow for the first few hours as the reviews have said. Just barely got to the "town" after 3 hours in. Same kind of deal. Missions for story and side missions as you progress. I picked Wilhelm. I'm not sold on his special (drones), yet. They are cool in theory, but right now, they aren't super useful other than to divert attention of baddies if you are really hurt and need to be healed. I'll have to look at the skill tree more to see how much I can do with him. Also, the eridium has been replaced by moonstones. I don't know if it is just part of the game where we are, or what, but they drop those like crazy. So, it's easy to upgrade the amount of grenades/ammo/backpack spots you can carry stuff early. Pretty nice. Outside of that, the story is funny, as to be expected.

It took me forever to get in B2 as well; but I finished it. I will wait for a huge price drop on this before getting it.

That gun looks a lot like the Ice Breaker Sniper in Destiny. It also burns people.
