Is it just me or are the set units a pain in the ass to kill

The new exo mechanics are cool and overall I'm pleased with the game but I still like the old COD games from 5 yrs ago. It seems like there is not much strategy anymore, you get shot within seconds of shooting someone half the time, not much sniping, rarely scorestreaks, etc. I'd love to seem them come out with a classic collection of COD, WAW and MW2 with updated graphics and new servers that are not hacked.....

I had to download the app for my Android tablet. I wasn't able to join the clan using the app in my iPhone, or using the X1 game!

My friends and I were talking about this while playing the other day. Just re-release MW1 and 2 in a package. I don't even need a complete graphics overhaul. Keep the same engine. Just give me those games again as close to the originals as possible. Throw them on dedicated servers. I would buy them again, at full price, no questions asked.

So, what ability are you using with your suit? I choose being invisible, but I'm not sure if it's really worth it. It had helped me in a couple of times, but feel like most of the time is useless.

With my shotgun build I use the speed boost thing. With some of the other builds I either use no suit ability at all (instead loading up on perks or attachments) or the one that gives you extra health for a bit.

I don't waste any points on the exo suit or launcher. I put them towards extra perks/attachments which are much more useful IMO.

I run the BAL with Quick Draw, Grip, and Silencer. For perks I run Low Profile, Cold Blooded, Scavenger and Toughness. For kill streaks I run UAV and Orbital Care Package.

I like the launcher so typically run that.

For killstreaks I use the UAV with Scrambler and then the Care Package with whatever bonus makes it so it is more expensive but deaths don't reset it. Basically guarantees a single care package a round at minimum.

I really really like how the streaks are now points based and not based on consecutive kills.

New patch seems to have fixed my connection problems.

I finally got employee copies of this game, and i played a few multiplayer rounds on PC. So far, so good. I only spent a few minutes on Ghost before deciding I would spend my time on Battlefield 4, but i'm enjoying the exo suit stuff in multiplayer so far. Only at level 8 so just a few matches in, but I'm enjoying the return to the faster paced Call of Duty.

I gave up on it. Too random for my tastes. Struggling to maintain a pathetic 1.25 KDR just isn't my definition of fun. Not when I've been twice that good at every other COD.

I had dinner with my friend last night that works at Treyarch and he was telling me a little bit about Black Ops 3. I actually enjoyed Black Ops 2 quite a bit, so I'm glad they are continuing with that series.

Fun fact: Treyarch and Activision also like money.

I think Advanced Warfare is a great spiritual successor to Black Ops II and I would like to see some of the changes Sledgehammer utilized in co-op to make its way to Zombies mode in BO3.

Anyone started playing the Clan Wars?

Last night I was in a random non (without my clan) deathmatch when 5 out of the 6 rival's team were all clan members (their own clan). They proceeded to obliterate us with a score of 75 to 19.

It was a very humbling defeat.

I will sound like scott (oldboy) but how do you play clan wars? I never knew in the previous game, and now I've checked the iphone app and still don't know. There's nothing in the MP menu either.

Too much work: http://www.callofduty.com/advancedwarfare/clan-wars

Yeah, you sort of have to gi back and forth with the APP to collect points and such.

It's a fucking mess on Xbox (both 360 & One).

All of our team's wins for Search and Rescue, Domination, Hardcore Team Deathmatch, and Capture the Flag did not register due to Xbox Live not properly sending the information to Beachhead due to the various outages.

While we're the only team with points on the scoreboard in our Platinum Division match, we should've had most of the map captured at this point. Whatever. This will probably be the easiest win we've had to get into Diamond yet.

We were broke or some shit. A lot of our points didn't register either. We did ok but it's a cluster fuck on the PS4, too.

Our clan has captured only HC Team Deathmatch, HC Kill Confirmed, and Domination. We're at 77 points and every other clan in our match is at 0.

I also realized how much I hate standard game modes in Call of Duty. To even tolerate softcore, I am running a gun with three attachments, five perks, and the Exo Trophy System. No secondary weapon and absolutely no score streaks. I captured Domination single-handedly and I was racking up 7K+ points a game.

You're a mad man. The PSN was down for a bit tonight. I already lost track with the clans. I did get a bunch of Goliath's today, so that was pretty fun. One of my pet peeves is idiots that play the Kill Confirmed levels as of they're regular levels. It doesn't matter how many people you kill, because if you don't pick up the dog tags it means NOTHING! I was literally yelling at these potato heads to pick the fucking dog tags up!
