So far the anniversary has been good to me, 7 4* (2 Dino, 2 Falcon, 1 Jean Grey, 1 Ant Man, 1 Fury) and I am sure a couple useful 3*. I have and outside chance for another 10 pack, I am currently 26th for the week.

Well I just went 2/2 with anniversary token and got a Prof X and a Mr Fantastic bring the total to 9 4*. I am 17th for the season so a 10 pack is not out the question.

The first half of the anniversary sucked big for me, pulled almost nothing from tokens, spent $20 on first day of sale and bought 4 roster slots. Once they loosened up the odds I started raking in the 4* covers.

started with 1510 hp ended with 885, bought 5 total roster slots

started with 50k iso ended with 64k after dumping hundreds of levels worth into Thoress and Devil Dino for the 4* DDQ challenges and finishing my last 20 levels on Black Panther to make him my 14th finished 3* character. Won TONS of iso.

Well got a second anniversary 10 pack.. Got only 1 3*, and it was useless (Scarlet witch, but the only cover I have maxed)! What a let down. I knew I was in trouble when the first 5 were all silver. Still the season was a success, I forgot to mention I pulled a star lord too so 10 4* in the event, and quite a few useful 3s, but still, what a way to end it..

I now need to concentrate on getting ISO to max out my 3s, I only have thor and steve maxed, a lot are sitting at 120 and a few are in the 120-145 range but ISO is so hard to come by. Leveling from 120-166 is costly.

Lastly anyone have suggestion for Mystique? I have 13 covers for her but I have no clue if she is useful in any formation.

25 to buy a Legendary Token, 720 to buy one cover for a 5*. My luck was great yesterday. I pulled an Iron Fist purple from a Dark Avengers token to get him to 2/3/5, got my day 610 black Elektra to get her to 2/4/2, beat Carnage with my level 94 Professor X and got a blue Jean Grey to get her to 0/2/1 and finally, I got the 33K point progression token from the Dark Avengers Heroic PvE and pulled my first Old Man Logan!

How in the fuck you beat that all hulk level? Hulk with 21k in HP, followed by that **** She-Hulk with nearly the same. What the fuck.

well figured out that one. have to have at least one character that stuns. i used maxed spidey, maxed kahn and maxed luke cage. got a bunch of protect tiles from spidey + luke cage's one, used spidey to repeatedly stun, and kahn's heal power when i used other team member's skills. took a while, but got through it ok.

Stun. Steve Rodgers, Iceman or Lady Thor. I used lady thor because her damage ramps up as charge tiles are on the board.

I went Steve, Hood, and OBW, they couldn't get an attack off other than team ups. Steve just eventually mowed them down.

My friend in our alliance just pulled a Phoenix. His highest leveled character is 97 right now. He is screwed with leveling for a bit. I think he has enough ISO to max some 3*s out at least.

Yeah, I just hope they change up the reward, not just same color of the same character each time. Unfortunately it probably will be the same, the Ant Man 2nd time was the same reward. Everyone will have 5 of that cover and none of the others.

Well I just got an Old Man Logan with a legendary token, thanks to the person that purchased something to get the alliance a CP to give me 25. My Logan is the red cover that creates strike tiles when a team does an action, however he also loses 750 health. Without the yellow to heal him he really is limited. He will gobble up health packs. I hope I can still compete in PVE since after him all I have is 166 level characters.

I am also in a good grouping for PVE, I am 18th in my group. I should get 2 more Chulk covers.

I think that if you don't have any usable 4*, it's best to hoard the legendary tokens. They will screw up your scaling. On the other hand, 3 or 4 OML covers is a serious game changer. 5* are orders of magnitude better than any other character (especially OML).

For me the whole point of Legendary tokens WAS to get usable 4* characters. The 4* are tough to get, especially with the volume that were pumped out. I end up getting one or two covers for each one which makes them useless except to get the CP token in the PVE events for being required character, which gets you Legendary tokens... So now I am a bit screwed with scaling, but there was no way I could drop OML. I think the leveling is off with the 5*, one cover starts at 255 but can level to 270 without another cover, that is right around the max of a 4*. 4* start at 70, which is below even a 2* max. You need like 7 covers to be able to get above a 3* max, a 4* starting level should be around 150.

For anyone who was interested in picking up the console version do not it's hot garbage. Puzzle Quest 1 & 2 were so good it sucks this franchise has gotten so bad.

5* go to level 450 (maybe 550 when the rumored prestiging goes into place). The crazy thing about 5* is their scaling when you level them. Each level gets you like +2 in match damage on their strong colors. My level 316 OML does like 666 damage on each black match. A level 450 5* does like 1600 damage per 3 jewel match on their strong color. You can have the worst 5* (Sliver Surfer) maxed and destroy the 3 best maxed 4* toons. It's truly nuts.

The rumor is that they will be introducing prestige in 2016 where you will be able to take 2,3 and 4* above their current max levels. It is supposed to work like this:

Once you have your toon fully covered and maxed out, you pay a fee in ISO to prestige that toon. Once they are prestige, you can increase their level once for ever cover you get of them (can't buy levels with ISO). With each level you increase them, you get a small prize (ISO, HP, CP, etc). They increase in power just like when they are boosted. 3 & 4* are supposed to be able to increase 100 levels above their current max. If you have a good rooster with a lot of maxed out toons, you should save all of your tokens for when they introduce this. Imagine having a 266 IF, Cage, Cyc all the time. The 4* will take a super long time to level up that much (unless you are a super whale).

It is also rumored that once a toon is prestige, you will be able to change their covers (max 13 still) for no cost at any time.
