Patch and Loki have been my go-to for nodes. They will hit a shitload of match 4's, so you are constantly sucking up AP and you can quickly get out Rage and Trickery. Kill those green fuckers first, to put a stop to the swarm move.

Well, if the game stays down and they don't hand out free Scarlet Witch tokens, it'll likely be the final straw to get me to delete it. I'd added another 60k to our total for the round before it crashed.

I'm not sure who to boot, but I'm all for kicking a non-DVDTalker to let danfindlay join.

I was annoyed enough with how the last event went that I was considering deleting the app. I hadn't spent HP on anything in ages, so I went ahead and dropped the majority of it on an event 10-pack, figuring I'd delete the game if I didn't get Scarlet Witch and play through the current event if I did. I pulled two for her, so I'm still in, for now.

I got lucky and got a cover for her from one of the few Ultron packs I was able to get. Good thing, as she is required this time and I'm kicking some Ultron butt.

Brave man. I don't think I could ever spend HP on a 10 pack, knowing I could easily (and probably would) get all 2 stars.

There's word that they're working on compensation for the server issues. I'm guessing it'll be tokens, but it would be nice to just be given a cover.

I signed in with my current alliance but at least this time they seem to be playing. I guess Bagsilver isn't as good a motivator as Hulkbuster.

Both my scarlet witches came from prize packs. If the servers hadn't been the technological equivalent of Beast we would have beat round 6 and pulled another witch. I had decent percentages but I'm much more thrilled about the Black Panther black and Magneto blue from DDQ the last two days.

It's from the game forums. It started with Invisible Woman, who they called Bag Lady. It means they suck almost as bad as the grand poobah of suck himself Bag Man Spidey.

Ah, sounds dumb but then again I thought the same of the "lazy"designation too :p

Not getting a Scarlet Witch will limit me on this one :(

They will probably give us a Scarlet Witch AFTER this event that she is essential for. Seriously, we were close to getting her, I didn't get one last round so I can't help as much this time.

She can generate nice amounts of purple which gsbw can convert to green so I expect her to get nerfed.

What are your A-Teams for Ultron and the outer nodes?

Ultron:
Hulk (to tank when I can't stop a bomb so at least I get some green out of it)
Cap 3* (blue/red can replace bomb tiles)
Thor 3* or GSBW (need someone to feed the green, plus yellow for Thor)

Outer nodes:
Haven't found a great team yet. Those swarm bots are annoying. Usually run with some combo of these heros and usually try to have 1 or 2 with AoE damage (Thor, BP)

Black Panther
Thor 2* or 3*
Iron Man 3*
Patch
GSBW

On the outer nodes, I run Luke Cage and 4* Thor. For Ultron, I run xforce, Cmags and Iron Fist. Be sure to kill the Blue bot first. He is the one that generates 2 criticals if they have too many special tiles on the board. That guy will rip you apart with cascade after cascade.

Ultron:
Like Gooter’s mix, but sometimes swap GSBW for Cap

Outer nodes:
Patch/Loki is a great combo (thanks to T-bone for suggesting it)

Daken is decent due to health regen

I like Deadpool & GSBW for their respective purple & green powers. Both do damage to the full team, allowing you to wipe teams while avoiding getting any flyers below 50%, which is where their ridiculous team-healing power kicks in.

Just a quick update with a little new info:
We're trying to get these fixes rolled out tomorrow, so you'll able to enjoy them over the weekend. This will include covers that you were very close to attaining.

I don't have an update on non-Ultron events yet. We'll begin working on those once Ultron is wrapped up, early next week.

Is wolvie1983 a dvdtalker? I just noticed he didn't play yesterday. He could be someone to boot for Dan Findlay if he isn't.

Man it will be close if we get a hulkbuster. everyone needs to concentrate on this (and deadpool if you want his daily cover).
