I can come over temporarily for the next running of Ultron. I hear Hulkbuster will be at stake and my alliance is a bunch of filthy casuals. We haven't even beaten him 4 times and I have close to 400k points. My in game name is dfin25.

You can't alliance hop for this event. Even if you join, you'll still be grouped with your previous alliance.

What stinks is I will be working 13 hr days Monday and Tuesday and won't be able to help out as much the next two days to try and get us all Scarlett Witches. Damn.

We could just kick out the two new guys since we went public and pick up the dvdtalkers. If we want to, also there may 2 players who don't play anymore.

My friends are Ericleerph, Lordservant and brtac. Those guys play daily and the first two are decent with helping for this event at least

I have him ISOed up pretty far but i wont take him all the way anytime soon. I use him every day for the DP 4 wave node. I can use his blue every other wave (along with 3*BW sniper rifle) to make it through easily.

Ultron event is fun. i hope we can get one more Ultron prime unlocked so i can get at least one SWitch cover. You can also buy one ultron prime pack a day for only 50 hp. so far the only 3* i've gotten from the packs is a doctor doom purple cover.

Got my heroic 10 pack from the pvp season: 2 daredevil red covers, 3* daken purple cover and a loki black cover, so I was happy. Daredevil red power is fun to use.

I ought to hit 1 million for the third Quicksilver cover pretty easily. After that, I'll keep plugging away if it looks like other people are putting up an effort towards the first Scarlet Witch. As long the timing works out right, I think I can pull around 600k for round 6.

The Ultron Prime tokens continue to be a bust for me. I think I've gotten around 15 of them so far and nothing but useless 2*s. If they were as great as the Anniversary tokens, I'd be spending 50 hp a day on the discounted ones, but they're not worth it to me with their drop rates.

ETA: And as soon as I post that, I pull a 4* Professor X from one of the daily tokens. Go figure.

The other problem with 3* Iron man is that the 3rd yellow cover makes it worse. You are much better off with 1 or 2 covers depending on if you want blue or not.

For those of you doing Ultron, make sure to do the QS essentials first as they have a chance for a token or HP. Also, be sure to buy one token each day. They are discounted to 50 HP like the anniversery tokens were. I've gotten over 1K HP so far just from beating essentials and Ultron.

Got a 4* Invisible woman yellow from the 50hp prize pack and a green one from end of season heroic token. She is 3/5/2.

EDITT: Also just pulled my 750k Bagsilver.

I'm good for another ~120k after work if it looks like it'll help. I was hoping to get through 3 full rounds today, but the timing just didn't work out. Everyone who wants Scarlet Witch and has a bit of free time should make as much of a push as they can now so that they can wait out the 8-hour, cool-down period and still be able to rack some points tonight.

We just fight the Ultron node in the middle, right (the one on a timer)? Fighting the matches in the outer ring don't help? (I don't have QS anyway).

You fight ultron in the middle once, it gets locked and the other nodes unlock. you fight one outer node, which then will unlock the middle ultron node again. repeat until all nodes are locked. you end up with around 6 or 7 ultron fights. I maxed out yesterday and will try to do it again today.
The outer nodes battles vary a lot. I've had tough matches where the bots are blowing up tiles and placing 'bad' tiles like crazy but i've also had battles where they barely do anything. its weird

Yeah, im not sure if there's a pattern to those outer node fights. Some absolutely destroy me with crits and chains.

I think the levels matter quite a bit. Most of those various bots have one or more passive abilities that include a chance of any new tile entering the board being a specialty tile in their favor. I'm not sure what the percentages are, but am guessing they go up with the levels. Also, cascades tend to work in their favor, as the more new tiles joining the board, the more specialty ones they get. Lastly, always do the flyers last (or first) and/or try to take them all the way out in one turn. If they're below 50% health, they'll convert specialty tiles to health boosts for the entire team.

I'm only 3 hours into my cooldown period, but all of my nodes reset for some reason. Going to try to run through them in the next couple hours, assuming they show as providing points.

Thanks gents. A little late to the party but now I understand how it works. I cleared all the available outer nodes and fought Ultron 3 times during my lunch break. I'm locked out till it resets now. Wish I paid more attention to the event awards too. Didn't realize QS covers were the final awards.

I heard that the outer nodes refresh every 8 hours, regardless of what your timer reads on Ultron.

Shit gets pretty brutal on round 8.

Good lord. I was just on the Iron Man node. Finished the first wave with Deadpool, 3* Daken and 3* Iron Man, all at 80%- 90% of health. With the first move of the second wave, they killed everyone but Iron Man and he only lasted 3-4 turns. Not sure how many more points I'll be able to contribute for the round at this rate.
