Thanks for the heads up. I was so focused on points I didn't even look at rewards. I assume this will be the ticket to the higher-point battles in the next PVE chapter.

I also notice that in the PvP events, a lot of them say "Chance to win..." and list a bunch of covers I need, and then I end up getting random 1* recruit tokens. I realize that they don't guarantee winning those particular covers in the PvP, but I have yet to win even one of the promised covers through those events.

I was so close to getting the daken cover. If I'd gotten home earlier . . . I was around 2600 pts away. Finished at 110.

Just pulled a red Black Widow Grey Suit cover, another three star character. My two star roster is still very weak and now I'm pulling three star covers. Cripes.

Same here, I pull plenty of three stuff (but only its all over the place so I can't work on anything consistently), but my two star roster is complete shit. At least I got those two covers for Sentry that I was talking about earlier. If only I could completely skip two-star all together, lol. Good thing, I'm not really taking it too seriously though or else I might be actually spending money on this thing :(

If you want to preserve points for the Season 2 overall rewards then waiting may still be a good idea as the cost of a shield is cheaper due to length of time remaining; 3hr shield vs 8hr, etc.

I'm shooting for the Heroic 10 pack but probably won't get it again (sitting at 1700 points). I can only compete in the PvP Hero events and then usually can only rack up about 600 points before I'm facing level 85+ heroes. I don't even attempt the Shield Simulator as everyone seems to be higher than me on it.

Well, I guess I had a lucky bracket. I had probably around 37K, and ended up in the top 20. Ended up with 3 Sentry covers and a couple of other usefuls along the way. Good event

i got nothing good from the event. an OBW purple i dont want, a modern hawkeye (already have him maxed), and a bullseye.

Accumulated a total of 67 points in the Psylocke PvP (basically two matches, both against lv 90+ Psyclocks and lv85 2*s). After using my 3 free skips, I'm now facing:
Psylock lv90, Hulk lv122, OBW lv85
Psylocke lv23, Black IM lv128, OBW lv 85
Psylocke lv90, Daken lv69, Patch lv105

My Psylocke maxes at lvl 20, since I have one of each cover. I can probably beat them, but it'll be close, and they'll be able to pound me right back. Sorry I don't think I'll be of much help in this particular event, or any PVP unless it's got a character I've decently leveled or I get more 3* covers for Punisher/Hulk/Magneto ...

I'm swimming in OBW and Bullseye covers. I wish I could gift them (especially OBW), though as we discussed before I understand why we can't. Right now I'm just accumulating ISO waiting for one of my favored covers to drop (I think I get a Magneto as a daily prize, but it's about a month away)...

new update. they've change a bunch of stuff. mostly, cosmetic things. it shows you your score/alliance score in one easy to find place. there's a separate button now for the rewards.

also when you defeat someone in the pvp event, you get your current score, shows you how much to the next reward and your overall season score. pretty helpful.

I finally got another Thor cover, and a Modern Hawkeye cover, who's fairly useless. I just need a few Classic Storm and MN Magneto covers and I'd have a solid 2 star team. Right now Thor's the only one really worth a damn.

THello people. Many of u seem pissed off. I guess I had been lucky. I ended rank 9 in psycho :) match. 6 hrs were left I went in full health did massive damage n 3 hr shield. Then around 1 hr or so left, did second level of damage n then again 3 hr shield. Returns made my 150 gold balanced with 2 covers of ugly lady n good iso.

And now new thing I caught up today. Started around 3:45 n finished at around 6:15. Imagine this long from 1100 to 1780 points in simulator. Tons of cards won. Combination used Ares, obw, storm. Targeted below combitin of opponents as below. As priority goes
Darken, magneto n any
Storm magneto n any
Obw, Thor n any but not with storm
Wolverine n any 2 without having Thor

So I guess I can look for same combinations in future too. U too try n let us know if it goes well for u

BTW many a things I keep experimenting n sharing but no 1 ever seem to have tried those. Or probably no1 shared n update. Anyhow, its best time to for simulation event as ppl will be busy with other event. All this while I lost 200 points while I was online.

FYI, according to the official forums, due to the server issues during the Sentry event all players who have played since 5/9/14 will get a bonus of 2000 ISO and 100 HP.

Lots of events going on, pve and pvp. Simulator is back featuring Sentry, both normal and hard which can be run at same time (Thanks TB! for that info). And a Sentry pvp round was added.

I can't believe I just found this thread. I've been playing this game since it launched. My daily reward track is over 200 with 37 characters, many maxed.

So, since it's pointless to try to join the dvdtalkers alliance, I'm looking to expand my own. Does anyone know how many HP are required to expand from 5 to 20? I know it's 600 to go from 5->6, but I'm hoping it's simply not 100x(the next cap) because that would be 6+7+8+...+19+20 = 195x100 = 195,000 HP!

Is the norm to only allow the next member in if they can pay for the next slot but the 20th guy gets in for free?

I don't think it is pointless to join our alliance. We'd love to have ya! :D

When I joined, most other members including myself, pitched in $ to buy 3 or 4 spots. One person collected the $ via Paypal gift and bought the HPs to open the spots. The last time someone joined, Supermallet I think, he ended up buying his own spot.

I would definitely pitch in $ again to expand the alliance to get you a spot. You make your money back via the alliance awards pretty quickly.

Oh, I know that. But I already have 7 local players and I don't think I'd leave them behind at this point.

The joint payment is what I was thinking. Even better if *I* don't have to spend my HP to bring other people in ;-)

But, is that the pricing structure? An extra 100 each level?

Yeah, I don't think there's a way to split the cost among multiple people. How much is it now?

Just a warning, while we have a lot of players at this point, we're not necessarily a scoring juggernaut or even a bunch of hardcore players. I think we consistently place around 250 to 300 (though we did get alliance cover rewards at least once that I can remember). I'm fine with that, but depending on how your other guys in your current alliance are, just wanted to prep you.

But hey, we all love DVDs, right? :)

edited to add: It's 1900 now, which is a little more than I have at the moment, but if you really want in maybe I'll buy some coins (and then they'll go on sale right after).

Also how do you add someone to facebook in this game again? Do I have to wait until I get a shareable reward?
