You should know by now to never buy Ubisoft games on their release date, as there's always major bugs that need to get fixed. You gotta wait at least a week or two.

I have a friend on my list that jumped into my game just to mess around and go exploring. I'm Level 6 and he's already Level 16. We came upon some Thugs in an alley and right away he said, "oh-oh"...before I knew it I was down. The "Yellow" AI was a Level 15....

So does the AI scale to the Player whose game it is or scale to the highest level player in the group? We talked about it and seemed whose ever game/party it is, everything should scale to him and those higher maybe get a penalty/reduction based on their level...but it wasn't that way last night. So maybe food for thought in case some start getting to far ahead and want to join a friend/group or several levels below.

From what I've seen, it scales to the highest player level. However, apparently that's only when it's set to hard. I don't think anyone has actually figured out exactly how the scaling works yet.

I'm going to fall behind fast. 2 short days of work have turned into 2 long days and then this weekend is my brother's bachelor party weekend. I don't care if the world ends monday, I will be sitting in my chair playing!

I've put like 15 hours into the game so far and I've only gotten disconnected once. That was on the day of launch and I was immediately able to reconnect.

This game has the single busiest HUD I've ever seen. Wow.

Still, I've been able to spend a couple hours playing today and I think I'm getting the hang of it, but the amount of information thrown out there is a little overwhelming. It'a a damn fine looking game and it feels good too. The shooting doesn't feel quite as good as Destiny, but that game set a pretty high bar.

Are there raids built into the game right now, or are they coming down the road as end game content via DLC?

The HUD is really way too cluttered. And the text is so small it makes the Witcher's look huge.

So has anyone done and DZ stuff? Went in 2 times and got slaughtered within a minute both times.

A couple of complaints from me:

1. The enemies are sponge like on even the lowest difficulty.

2. The game's AI is terrible. I was playing alone and when we went to the police station, the bad guys could be standing feet to the left or right of one of the NPC guys fighting along side me. The bad guy would be shooting at me while the NPC would be shooting past him and at someone else. Happened more than once and I can only shake my head.

3. Could they have not made more of a variety of enemies and not made it like they cut and pasted them from Watch Dogs?

I have to disagree about the enemy AI. They clearly get more intelligent as the game goes on. They do a pretty good job going for cover and flanking. I'll definitely see "dumb" enemies, but it's rare at this point in the game for me (level 16).

Your DPS is probably lacking if you are finding the enemies take too long to kill while playing solo.

DZ scales depending on level. The first is level 1-15. So if you're going to go in solo wait until you are 13 or 14.

Yup. Enemies get infinitely smarter. Pull all sorts of tactical moves. I am 22 now.

Honestly AI in most games is pretty shit, I think this is some of the best AI I've experienced.

I'm not just talking about the AI of the enemies but the AI overall. When you can have a good guy and a bad guy literally shoulder to shoulder shooting in opposite directions and at other targets then that is a bit absurd. Maybe the AI gets smarter as the game goes on but this was a bit of a turnoff early on in the game.

^Lol! That is what it felt like as I was fighting through the police station. Also, as I went through the underground garage, my 3 counterparts just hung out in the previous section. Once I cleared that area they finally decided to show up with me in the office area.

Probably a dumb question but is the DZ unlocked at a certain level or introduced at certain story point in the main mission? I'm only like level 6 and just starting out with the story but I haven't heard any mention of it in the game yet.

The mission for it unlocks at 9, but you can go in now. Don't go alone though. You'll get slaughtered at level 6.

I don't like the DZ. Too hard. Enemies that are 3 to 4 levels than you have too much HP. When there are 3 or 4 it becomes impossible to fight them.

Oh yeah I wasn't going to try it yet until about 13-14 from what I've read. Just curious as to when it gets brought up in game.

Re: The Division -- Xbox One/PS4 -- March 8th, 2016

I'm absolutely loving the DZ in this game. I spent the entire day yesterday just messing around in there. Some thoughts for those that are having trouble with it.

- You should probably be at least level 10 when you go there because that's the lowest level AI that I saw.

- Your player level does not increase in the DZ, only your DZ level. You need a higher DZ level to open certain crates and equip the better weapons.

- It's the MP portion of this game so it definitely helps if you go in with friends, but it's absolutley doable solo.

- People can de dicks. Human players will kill you and steal your gear. Be wary of everybody.

- If you go rogue (killing other human players), the penalty is much more severe when you die. I advise you don't go rogue solo unless you're a badass. Also, if you're in a group when you go rogue, everybody in your group is rogue also. So you'll get stuck with the severe penalties of if someone in your group is being a dick.

- Your gear makes a HUGE difference. I went in at level 14. My gear was crap and I had a lot of trouble at first. My Primary weapon DPS was in the 2-3K range. After a lot of trial and error... and dying... I was finally able to get some decent gear out of there. Eventually, being successful got noticeably easier. At the end of the day I was still level 14, but my primary weapon DPS was 9000+. Trust me when I say I go in there and melt people. I can clear out groups of AI with no problem at all and literally the only time I die is from squads of other human players.

- To sum up, it's f'n hard at first. It gets much easier when youre properly equipped. And having someone to go in with helps a lot, but it is not necessary at all because I was solo for the majority of my time in there.

I do nearly 20k DPS at lvl 24 and have similar health. I get absolutely murdered against those roving gangs that are lvl 20-23.

Well like I said, I'm only Lvl 14. But I have no problems in the 2 DZ sections that are similar levels.

So I have to ask... I've been hesitant to level up beyond 14 because I wasn't sure if you can still access the lower level sections of the DZ... can you? I've come across numerous chests in the beginner zones that require DZ Lvl 30 to open and I don't want to miss out on them if I can't come back in. I'm currently DZ Lvl 19 just from playing yesterday.
