Depends on your expectations. I enjoyed it, but didn't love it or anything. Slashing up evildoers can be tiresome, unless you really enjoy slashing up evildoers, which I do.

DR3 Reviews are trickling in, PC Gamer's:

Dead Rising 3 was, until recently, an Xbox One ‘exclusive’, and it’s pretty clear that PC wasn’t the primary development platform. This isn't one of Capcom's best ports. It’s a system hog, and you’ll need a substantial PC to run it on high settings. It’s also locked to 30 frames per second out of the box, which makes the already slow, heavy combat feel even more sluggish.
You can, however, force 60 by creating a user.ini file in the same directory as deadrising3.exe and adding gmpcr_unlock_frame_rate=True to it, but this will hit your machine even harder. Those of you with older GPUs and CPUs might struggle to run the game at a decent frame rate, especially in busy areas like the freeways, which are clogged with thousands of zombies.
But if you have the horsepower, Dead Rising 3 is a riotous, imaginative, and brilliantly silly game. The dizzying wealth of weapons means the endless, bloody slaughter stays entertaining long after most other zombie games would have outstayed their welcome, and it has an endearing sense of humour, despite some dubious stereotyping that dances on the fringes of good taste.

Dead Rising 3 available today, rocking roughly the same score as the Xbox One version:

Lot of reports of the game running extremely well on the GTX 760, which is good to hear.

It isn't that bad, but it is missing a good bit from previous titles and frankly it's fun ragging on EA.
a remake of Hatoful Boyfriend has also been released for $9.99 on Steam. It's a Japanese dating sim about a human at an all Pigeon school.
The story is set in a future version of Earth in which sapient birds are now common, and follows the protagonist—the only human attending St. PigeoNation's Institute, a school for birds—as she finds love among her avian acquaintances.

Re: PC Gaming Thread
I thought I had read that 4gb was recommended if you are running a 4k display. But since minimum and recommended doesn't get that specific it probably doesn't make sense to recommend across the board.

Re: PC Gaming Thread
Finally fired up Dead Rising 3, I'm running:
Core i5-3570K @ 3.40GHz / 16gb ram (I just found an extra 8gb lying around) / 2gb Zotac GTX 760 / Win 7 64
I left the 30 fps lock on just because that has never really bothered me, game runs very fluid even with the screen full of zombies at 1080p60 @ High Detail, the only hiccups are on the cut scenes for whatever reason. Gameplay itself is silky smooth thus far. Plays perfectly with the Xbox 360 controller (wireless here, playing it on the projector).
Not the terrible botched port I was half expecting.

Re: PC Gaming Thread
I'm reading much better reviews for the 1440p monitors when compared to the cheaper 4K monitors. Personally I think GPUs just are not ready for 4K yet, much less anything beyond that. Running two 780s in sli is nice with 1440p. Major slow down for 4K. I'd wait another year or two.

You should wait for 8K then
There should probably be a SST 5K display out within a year of the Dell panel though, just like there was for 4k. And it'll likely be a lot cheaper, too.
I was all gung ho for 4K, and the Acer 4K G-SYNC panel is really nice, but man, the Asus ROG 25x14 144Hz G-SYNC panel is all kinds of awesome.

NPD breaks PC players into three groups, Heavy Core, Light Core and Casual. Heavy Core players play "core" games – action / adventure, fighting, flight, MMO, racing, RTS, RPG, shooter, or sport games – for more than five hours per week. Light Core players play those games, but for fewer than five hours per week, while Casual players enjoy non-core games. Heavy Core players make up 20 percent of the entire group, Light Core players are 24 percent, and Casual players compose 56 percent.
Heavy Core is the smallest segment, though players spend "a significantly higher number of hours gaming in an average week," NPD says. Over the past three months, Heavy Core players spent roughly twice as much money as Casual players on physical and digital PC games.
PC players are split fairly evenly along gender lines, with 51 percent men and 49 percent women. However, the Casual segment is "overwhelmingly female," while Heavy Core and Light Core players tend to be men, NPD says.
