That scorpion part in VIII... you only have to kill the guys with white arrows over their heads. If you don't kill them, they're the ones who are taking down your team.

As for the last "boss" fight, I was able to block the attacks and and get 2 or 3 hits in. It didn't always work, but I managed to do it after a few tries.

I'm going to re-play the game on Legendary, just for the achievements, but there's a bunch of multiplayer achievements and at least one that requires co-op play, so I'm not sure I'll be 100%ing this anytime soon.

In general, this game was "fun enough" for my $40, but some parts - especially those where you have to use your bow and arrow - are frustrating to the point where it becomes far less fun.

I've been going through all my games to knock everything out before Titanfall and I just finally put in my Day One Edition of Ryse.

The game is beautiful, but boring and repetitive. I've already completed 60% of the game despite only playing the single-player for a few hours. It honestly plays as hack, slash, execute, quick time event, and repeat. The story isn't interesting and I am sure I would be done by now if I could skip the cut scenes.

I've played some of the multiplayer with a friend of mine, but it's something I have no interest in revisiting so the DLC is out of the question.

This will probably be the first Xbox One game I put up for sale.

It's short, dull and repetitive. But it's pretty. And the cliched and predictable story is well told and well-voiced.

It came from the E3 thread, where the appearance of GTAV and save transfers during Sony's conference was called a dagger, to the disagreement of some of us.

This and Dead Rising 3 were the 2 games I most wanted to play on Xbox One. Now I get to play them on pc with better graphics.

Okay, if you say so. Ryse had many problems but "the graphics aren't pretty enough" wasn't one of them.
