Well, I'm late to the party but I got the Wii U bundle with this on Friday. At first, I was pissed that the characters moved so fucking slowly, I got to about the middle of World 2, then my friend told me you sprint by holding Y. After I wondered when Mario turned into the Tony Hawk series, I remembered that's how it always was in the 2-D games.
