I saw some hard to find 1.0 used figures at GameStop today. Most under $10. Also had a bunch of used skylanders, some special ones. Might be an option instead of eBay. None of them had the cards though.

FYI, I popped into TRU today and was surprised to find a nice sale going on that didn't really make it into their ad.

In the ad, all I saw was get any figure for $0.99 when you buy any playset, which is pretty nice, but also they've got all single figures on sale for 9.99 or less. I think all the 2.0 figures are 9.99, but some of the 1.0 figures are 7.49 or 5.99. I couldn't find any rhyme or reason as to why which figures were which prices, but the prices appear to be the same on the website if anyone wants to take a look.

I picked up 3 Crystal figures I don't have for 5.99 each. Now the only 1.0 figure I'm still missing is Crystal Lone Ranger (who was still 9.99 for some reason, or I'd have picked him up too).

Sliver 1.0 Power Disc packs are also 5 for $5, which while not nearly as good as 4 for $1, is still pretty good. I was actually surprised that they still had any left after that other sale. Anyway, I don't have many needs left from 1.0 power discs apart from the rare ones, but it occurred to me while I was standing there that if you scratch the packages, you can tell whether or not there are rares inside (because of the lenticular hologram). Found 4 of them, so I picked up an extra pack for good measure, and lucked out that only one of them was a double and none of them were ones I already had.

Got both Loki and Falcon yesterday but they are gifts for the kids so they were immediately squirreled away. Did anyone get the last two power up discs (Captain Marvel Team Up, Ultimate Falcon)? Are they in foil packs or a packaged set?

They come in a specially marked foil pack with just these two discs.

I think most people were unable to find them yesterday, but Gamestop is promoting an event starting this Saturday where you get them for free if you make a $10 Infinity Purchase. There are other sales during this event, including Playsets for $20 and all other power disc packs for $3

So I just picked up the Marvel Starter Kit and Donald Duck and Groot figures.

I start up the game, and it goes to a grey screen with floating boxes. Putting a character on does nothing. The only thing I can get to change is the background music and image when I put a disc on the base.

Do I have a broken unit or something?

EDIT: Nevermind, a hard reset fixed it.

So what are you supposed to do in the game? What's the object in Toy Box mode?

I went to Gamestop earlier today and bought 4 of the 2.0 packs plus I got the free "rare" one. He rang the freebie last, but for some reason during the process the "rare" pack rang up $8.99. After which he turned around and switched one of the packs for another one. I assume it was the "rare" pack that he switched, but I could not tell. He rang them up again and it worked fine that time. Luckily I got no doubles out of the 4 packs.



I also forgot to add this in when the conversation was going on. If there are any 1.0 discs anyone is looking for let me know. I have a shit ton of extras that I never took the time to get rid of. Probably nothing anyone needs, but I thought I would throw it out there.
