NHL '94 mode? sold!

That does look interesting. I have played lots of NHL hockey games but it's been a couple of years since I upgraded.

Would be cool if it has the '94 rosters. Knowing EA, it wont.

I dunno... that NHL 12 review that runs at the top of the forum still makes me just want to buy NHL 12.

I was totally down with buying 14, but after finding out they aren't doing a next-gen version, I'll just skip it and wait a (another) year.

Looked like Peverly was in the promo, and he didn't start in the nhl until 06, so i'm going to say its new rosters. Which means instead of making Gretsky's head bleed we get to make the Sedin Bro's heads bleed!

I'm not a sports game fan, but it's this kind of thing that would make people want to pick it up who wouldn't already, especially those who might have fallen off the sports game bandwagon when they got more complicated. I know I did.

Having NHL '94 available is awesome in theory but not so much in actual use. They did the same thing w/ their Madden Anniversary 09 edition a couple years back and Madden '93. Fun for the sake of nostalgia but not so great when you really play it again.

Yeah. It's cool, but who is gonna play it for more then 20-30 minutes?

Now if they let you do a franchise with the mode, that might be interesting.

Did you even watch the video? It's not NHL 94, it's a presentation mode for NHL 14 that modifies the rules and presentation to be like NHL 94. Sounds pretty neat to me.
