I preferred Galaga.

I always thought Galaga (I just rewatched The Avengers) was Galaxian on steroids--I didn't realize it was an actual sequel.

I think it was between myself and two other friends that we'd have our own tournament on Xevious. I remember finding the extra life flags and the multitude of towers. It was a quest to always find them when the target finder would flash red over open areas.

And with Galaxian, a lot of other games opened up to me that came from Japan. I could never find a Moon Cresta machine here on the mainland.

I played that a couple of times in arcades growing up in South Texas, not that I remember much about it but the title.

I'll start around 10am PT. Just got into the office....

Not sure how I'll fair. My answers are mainly games from my local places. I'm a product of the 80's, so I was pretty much done at the arcade once the button mashing fight games came around. Of those, only really played Pit Fighter. My answers skewed toward the early 80s.
