My town has pears. I will post up my FC later, but my town is basic as heck. Question: do i just dig everywhere with the shovel and hope for something to come up?

Added Supermallet and UncleGramps. My friend code is 1762-2679-6740. I have cherries, and have apples and peaches planted so I should have those soon. And I also got burned by fake art. That rat bastard!

Save room for me, I have to go get my friend code. Also, only being able to play late at night has been screwing me...

Re: Animal Crossing New Leaf
I added a few people from this thread, feel free to add me back and let me know if I didn't get you yet. 4570-7591-6021
My town has native peaches, but a guy on another forum gave me a bunch of different fruits earlier today and I planted them all, so in a few days I should have a variety to share.
Also I dropped by Best Buy to get the freebie today but wouldn't you know it, that particular location was having a problem with their NintendoZone station. (More info on the freebies here.)

I was thinking I was going to have to do a 2 hour drive to get the clock, but luckily found out on CAG that you could 'spoof' the connection by making an open wireless network called Bestbuy.
1. Create open wireless network with SSID Bestbuy. (Luckily my router has guest networks so I used one of those.)
2. Make sure 3DS sees the network. (Should get a notification NintendoZone location found.)
3. I had to delete my home connection from the 3DS (Internet Settings/Connection 1) otherwise I had issues connecting.
4. Made a new connection to the Bestbuy network.
5. Load up Animal Crossing proceed to the post office and ask Pelly about a present.
6. Save the game.
7. Delete the Bestbuy connection, and redid my Home connection.
8. Reset my router guest network.

Yeah, all of the local Best Buy stores have wi-fi conflicts so the NintendoZone doesn't function. I was talking to the Nintendo rep Saturday during the E3/Wii U demo day, and he said they had been broken for a while, but he was hoping to have it fixed in time for the next item sometime after 6/30.

Re: Animal Crossing New Leaf
I've been trying to leave my gate open when I'm just tooling around town, but even though I have a bunch of people on my friends list showing as online playing AC:NL, nobody ever shows up. I think having to have people set as Best Friends before you can shoot them a message saying Hey, my gate is open, doesn't help.
I've added everyone listed so far.

Alright, I added everyone who's posted in the thread. I have tons of fruit and many doubles from the fortune cookies. My friend code is a few posts above this one.
