Re: Legend of Sheep: Nintendo (NES) Sheep
Is there a reason I can never PM anyone? Does that feature turn on after a certain number of posts or time?
Thanks. I have answers to submit, if there's a way... |
Re: Legend of Sheep: Nintendo (NES) Sheep
I don't know if there is another way.
I have 23 so far, I'll take a few more. |

in with the answers
|
Re: Legend of Sheep: Nintendo (NES) Sheep
I'm going to close the entries except for former sheepmasters.
|
Re: Legend of Sheep: Nintendo (NES) Sheep
I'm fairly certain there are no right answers to #11. I put a wrong answer that I will be shocked if anybody matches, but it was a favorite game of mine on the NES, so I figured why not.
|
Re: Legend of Sheep: Nintendo (NES) Sheep
I probably didn't match anyone on #11 but I still like my answer.

I'm 45. When the NES and SNES (and Sega Genesis) systems were popular, I was in College and medical school I guess. That was an era when adults didn't play video games (at least not like they do today). Nobody in my dorms had a gaming system and only one med school friend owned a SNES. As a result I have no NES knowledge or nostalgia. Are most of the folks here who know about this stuff younger than forty so they were still kids when these systems were popular, or was it just a period of gaming that I missed out on entirely? |
Re: Legend of Sheep: Nintendo (NES) Sheep
Sent in my dunk fix. What's sad is I skimmed through the rules looking to see if the dunks could be stacked and I still somehow missed it! I must of just read part about the reverse sheep dunk stacking.
Question 11 is going to suck because of the wii's virtual console. |
Re: Legend of Sheep: Nintendo (NES) Sheep
I put a wildly wrong answer to #11, hoping at least a few others would give up and do the same. I played a lot of NES games as a kid and couldn't remember a single one that'd fit the criteria.
|
Re: Legend of Sheep: Nintendo (NES) Sheep
Uh oh, I thought 11 was obvious.
Need to send in dunk fixes. |
Re: Legend of Sheep: Nintendo (NES) Sheep
Got my answers in, and I'm sure they're terrible.
|
Re: Legend of Sheep: Nintendo (NES) Sheep
#11 was very tough. I ended up putting a game I never actually played but remember reading about in Nintendo Power.

Re: Legend of Sheep: Nintendo (NES) Sheep
Since I'm new to Sheep games, help me understand then. If my answer to #11 is unique, then I end up with "even money" and 0 points up or down?
|
Re: Legend of Sheep: Nintendo (NES) Sheep
For a sheep question you want to match as many people as possible. There are no wrong answers. If your answer is unique you receive 0 points. If it is reverse sheep, then you want to be unique and you have to be correct. Then the scoring from the first post comes into play. Also, to reiterate, scoring is like golf where -18 is much better than +3.

Re: Legend of Sheep: Nintendo (NES) Sheep
revisions for stupidity, incoming.

Re: Legend of Sheep: Nintendo (NES) Sheep
+100 for Corvin!

Re: Legend of Sheep: Nintendo (NES) Sheep
10 dammit! Don't be adding extra zeroes!

Re: Legend of Sheep: Nintendo (NES) Sheep
Just saw this one. I really don't go into the video game forum any more now that Rock Band stopped releasing DLC.
I have submitted answers under the "former sheepmaster" exemption. Hopefully I'm not too late. And yes, no.11 was tough. I came up with one but I realize now that this will probably be one where an incorrect answer is the best choice. |

I am going to close this for everyone now. I am at 30. See you all on Monday.

Re: Legend of Sheep: Nintendo (NES) Sheep
I really kinda wanted to do this one, but it's been a loooong time since my gaming days. SO prudence said I needed to pass.
I'll keep up with the thread though. |

Re: Legend of Sheep: Nintendo (NES) Sheep
I am going to try to start this at 1:30 or 2:00 eastern today, but I have a lot of stuff to do at work, so I may only make it through the first 6 or 7 questions.
