So 4% for 50 donuts is 12.5 donuts per 1% is a steal, and you can always put away what doesn't have a bonus. Christmas Market Bundle is pretty good at 20 donuts per 1%, too, if I'm doing my math right.
North Pole Bundle: 4% or 12.5 donuts per 1% bonus Festive Bundle: 1.25% or 40 donuts per 1% bonus Christmas Market Bundle: 2.5% or 20 donuts per 1% bonus https://www.reddit.com/r/tappedout/c...s_the/eb8bawq/ https://www.reddit.com/r/tappedout/c...s_here_is_the/ This event has been fine. If they'd had crafting, we could've gotten stuff like the carolers for "free" rather than currency, but I'm OK with a lighter event during the busy holidays. I've picked up all the buildings and characters. |
Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Any way to get free donuts? The reddit page I used to go is temporarily down so I'm looking either for some hacks or tricks to boost and get donuts.
|
Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
KEM Farming and the XP Collider is the key. Someone here posted about it, just go back a page or two. I'm now at 2000+ donuts and around 970% bonus!

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
There is a nice glitch right now where after you clear your buildings, then go to your friends list, and finally back to your town you will be able to clear all of your buildings again. And you can just keep doing it over and over.
|
Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Bummer, didn't work for me.
|
Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Lame. I think the only requirement for the glitch is to have the sky finger statue placed. Could be worse though, some people have reported that their buildings don't earn money at all now.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Got the Witch ($$ character from Halloween) in the Yearbook Mystery Box. Refreshed a bunch of times until she showed up. Now I need to find Maw Spuckler in some Mystery Box.
|
Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
So, is the game dead?
|
Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
I got a ton of characters and buildings for 30 donuts each in the yearbook box. I only quit when it became mostly decorations. |
Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Please tell me you're all getting bonus after bonus with those tennis courts for 10 movie awards each. That's 2% bonus per limited-time tennis court, just a ridiculously easy way to boost your percentage during this while event. I've picked up over 150 and I didn't even figure this out until halfway through the event! That's an extra 300% and counting with 3 days left to go! Don't forget if you've got the cash, you can get extra movie awards from the Springfield Googleplex.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
I’ve picked up about the same number. I had about 600 statues saved up, and I’ve been farming and converting them steadily. |
Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Is this app over?
|
Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Nope, still going. No new event in a couple weeks, so it's been a good time to build up donuts.
|
Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Haven't been able to login after the latest update. When I tap to get into the game, it asks me to install the latest update, which I already did. Put a ticket on the EA support site. Hopefully this gets resolved quick.
|
Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
The last update from a few weeks ago? That sucks. |
Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
That sucks, indeed. I've been able to login no sweat, building up a good donut bank. I recently spent down my 5000+ donuts to around 3800 and with a 2000% bonus I finally hit $1 billion in cash just waiting to be donuts when I want donuts. In this regard, the challenge has lapped itself for me in this game but I'm still have a lot of fun and the stories are funny. I still play every day several times per day. I do wish there was an event that used our friends more like back in the day, that was fun to put snake eggs in each other's towns, for example!
|
Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
I was just thinking about the snake eggs the other day. It was stressful trying to hit the levels, but fun to find out who needed eggs and dump them. I checked my friends list the other day and found it blank except for Other Springfield and figured that was the end of community, but it turned out to be a temporary glitch. The Flanders event was simple but added a bunch of new characters, which is always nice. |
Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Or maybe Red Hood meant the update that went live today but was not available for iOS when I asked the question (I checked). |
Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
The update that was on the app yesterday and that went live today. EA contacted me pretty quickly and told me that it was a widespread error and they did a small update that fixed the issue.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Hoping the Cthulu event wasn't the Halloween event. Looks like we won't get a big one this year but hopefully at least a one-week event coming soon.
|
Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
I kinda gave up hope when nothing happened last week. |
Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Word from producer Matt Selman is the new update drops tomorrow. Probably means a one-week event only, but I'll take it. Simpsons and Halloween have been peanut butter and chocolate for thirty years!

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
If any of you are friends with me on The Simpsons: Tapped Out, I created a section inspired by the movie Midsommar in my Springfield on the far right-hand side. It's Duff Gardens meets Midsommar. My wife recognized what I did instantly and laughed her tail off.
|
Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Update is on the App store, but the event doesn’t start till tomorrow at 10am |
Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Halloween event is on! One of the new characters is God, which you can get for 777 donuts from Gil |
