Probably not alot of interest here since it's going to be on PC, but this seems fun and might get me more interested in a MOBA game because of the superheroes.
For people that don't know what a MOBA is, think DotA or League of Legends.

A sudden assault threatens the DC Multiverse. All realities stand on the brink of annihilation. Now, the last hope for Earth lies in the powers of the DC legends.
Infinite Crisis (IC) is a next-generation, free-to-play MOBA featuring fast-paced battles, streamlined RPG mechanics, and iconic locations and characters from across the DC Mulitverse. Recruit a roster of powerful heroes and villains to command in destructive combat where catastrophic events can reshape the map and the environment itself can become a weapon.

I couldn't tell from the gameplay video. Do I get to actually be Batman, or doi have to be Batman's buddy that I made up myself? Because that's what killed DCUO for me and what makes me skeptical of MMOs based on pre-existing settings like this.

I assume you'll be the actual heroes. Not too many listed here so far (and no normal Batman listed yet, but he's front and center on the webpage so i'd be surprised if the typical heroes aren't there)

I didn't mean in the context of them being the same exact gameplay, but rather a massive online game involving numerous characters from their respective universes.

Re: DC Infinite Crisis (PC, Free to Play MOBA)
What the fuck is a MOBA???
I actually signed up at the beginning, got a code, an account, and downloaded the game last month.
I was lost. I tried to play but got stuck at the beginning. And thought it was "boring".
But they keep sending me emails to participate in the next window.

We should have a MOBA thread, but it stands for Multiplayer Online Battle Arena. Games like League of Legends, DOTA, DOTA 2, Awesomenauts, etc.

League of Legends is a MOBA and one of the biggest games available right now. I have only played a couple of Mobas on my ipad "Heroes of Order and Chaos" and "Solstice Arena". I lost interest pretty quickly. It seems awfully complicated and I usually suck at PvP games. However, since this one has DC heroes it may make the game more interesting.
