I bought the collection last Saturday and still not had a chance to play it. Its been downloading the huge updated and DLC's. My connection also seems to be slow as hell at the moment which is not helping. If its not working by Saturday i am taking it back and exchanging.

Shorter, but I am having more fun. There are defined things to do, to get set rewards. The raid is a lot more fun for sure.

I would assume you could even have a remote chance at a higher Rare via Strikes? I guess the other way is just hoping for one when decoding several Rare...which I've seen and even had to use before landing a Legendary one.

I had a blue ghost drop at 360 during a 320 strike, so yes, you can get a them that way.

I haven't done the Omnigul farming like most people so i've been doing hours of strikes, kind of sucks honestly and skeleton keys rarely drop for me

Make sure you're doing your daily public events on all 3 characters. It's an easy 10 marks and a free legendary engram per character. I've been hoarding all my engrams for when I complete the campaign and hit at least 350. I've only played the first mission due to playing too much crucible.


I still hate the Warlock radiance quest that requires 30 radiance multikills... It's been at 16/30 since I stopped trying in year 2. They need to make mayhem a permanent mode.

We did the Devil's Lair strike twice and the other two got decent Blues to drop but the five I got wee all 351...I'm at 350...and didn't really help at all. We're going to run PoE tonight and see what happens.

I did get chance to grab one of those new artifacts..."Memory of______" but didn't do it until I asked which one? I know everyone is grabbing the Skorri but I kept looking at the Felwinter one for my Hunter. Granted you loose the Super but the Strength and Discipline numbers along with Intellect would be almost maxed out. I think it had Void Grenades generate orbs to. But I can see in a group the Skorri would be the way to go.

If you have 3 characters, you can get one artifact with each character.

2 runs isn't going to help. You can run that 10 times in 2 hours and raise your LL probably at least 5 light levels. I hit 369 just running that, doing crucible and Iron Bounties. It's extremely easy to rank Vanguard now for rewards.

Well...I might have to run with Daggers...the other two wanted to run other stuff, quests in RoI, etc....I don't think they would want to run it 4-5 much less 7-10 times.

...I know what you're saying...it's a bit of grind and patience...which I don't mind. You also need the right group and right commitment to stay at something. I was just surprised even with five pieces not a single one over 351 with me at 350...

...and I've leveled up either the Vanguard or Crytarh fairly quickly lately but the last two times with the Crytarh it's been motes, coins and 1-2 Blues....

....I unloaded/decoded close to 22 Blue Weapon Engrams last night and got (2) Legendary Heavy and both of them were at 351

As a follow up to the launch of Destiny: Rise of Iron, we're making some changes to address issues that have become apparent throughout the first week of gameplay.

Activities
Strikes
Fixed an issue where the Abomination Heist Strike was not dropping rewards with the correct Light
Fixed an issue where the Winter's Run Strike was not dropping rewards with the correct Light
Fixed an issue where the Echo Chamber Strike was appearing in the wrong playlist
Omnigul will now drop rewards once during a Strike and will require the Strike to be finished to drop additional rewards

Archon's Forge
Quarantine Patrols will now always drop an Archon’s Forge Offering upon killing the Splicer Priest in the second phase of the Activity
Archon’s Forge has a higher chance to drop Offerings upon completion

Items
Fixed an issue where players who completed the "Beauty in Destruction" Questline did not receive a Gjallarhorn
Players can retrieve their Gjallarhorn from the Weapon Blueprint Collection on the Year 1 tab
Fixed an issue where Vanguard Reputation Boosters were not working in the SIVA Crisis Strike Playlist
