I selected my exotic bounties (Thorn, Bad Juju, Invective) sitting on each of my 3 characters last night
I assume they will be ready to be sharded later today .... I wonder what happens if you didn't pick a bounty before the patch? would it just auto-complete once you select which one?

looking for confirmation also that any Elder Cipher bounty did indeed auto-complete as well (should since it is an exotic bounty)

Shit. You can't field test weapons until tomorrow. That's one of the things I was looking forward to.

So let's see..I've read this thread, showered, then shaved for the first time in a week, then stared at the Nikki Bella gif for a while, read the patch notes, had a cup of coffee, stared at the gif some more....and it's still telling me I have 87 minutes left!

Per patch notes:

Players who were on any step of the elder cipher should receive a token to redeem at Variks for their choice of House of Wolves exotic weapon

It's says if you had a cipher you can go to Variks and "should" be able to choose whichever weapon you want.

Hmm... I'm going to have to delete a game or two to make room for this update. No wonder the pre-load for Taken King is less than a gig - all the info is in this update.

I confirmed that Etheric Light is still usable on Year 1 weapons to ascend them to 170.

I confirmed that incomplete Elder Ciphers do auto-complete with your choice of weapon.

There are separate kiosks for the following:

Ships (By Amanda Holliday)

Emotes (In the lounge)

Shaders (By Eva Levante)
Quests (By Ikora)
Exotic Weapons
Exotic Armor

There is no special orders ATM anymore. I believe it was removed because almost all of its use was to hold items that all have their own kiosk now. The exception to that is the ghost shell from the Collector's Edition, which is why you can't reobtain it right now if you delete it. So basically Tess Everis lost her job to an ATM, and now all of these kiosks.

We also now know all the Year 1 Exotics moving forward (at this time).

You might notice that all exotic legs got left behind. There will also not be new ones in Taken King. Beyond that, the Hunter and Titan are not getting a new chest piece, so it's Alpha Lupi or nothing for them. Warlock gets 1 new chest.

As for weapons, only 10 are moving forward, which is disappointing as we already knew all 10. None of the weapons on the bubble actually made the cut. So what we have:

Also, the SUROS is the only one that got a true overhaul, as the other weapons still have their old perks.

Also, if you pre ordered TK, the suros emblem and shader should be at your postmaster.

did you have it set to update during rest mode?
put it in rest mode and it should go quicker .... I doubt it will take anywhere close to 20 hours
