True story: I tried a few numbers before just going with 555. 1-800-EAT-DICK is a gay phone sex line. 800-EAT-A-DIC is a straight phone sex line. I didn't want to use an active working number, but that would have been even funnier in some ways.

So I pop this in for the first time in a while, and their freaking servers are down... are you fucking kidding me?

Gotta love how it's THEIR servers that are down, but the message totally tries to make you think that it's your fault:

"YOU have lost connection... YOUR permission to access online... YOUR profile may be signed in elsewhere..."

Since I have limited amounts of etheric light, anyone have an opinion on which weapons I should max out first for PVE? I currently have Fang of Ir Yut maxed. I still need to get a fatebringer. My goal is to do PoE 35.

Order in which I would ascend those weapons:
Word of Crota - behind the Fatebringer the most powerful elemental PvE Hand Cannon
Black Hammer - before the nerf the best sniper. period. If not for the nerf it would be at the top of the list.
Found Verdict - You can almost swap this and the swordbreaker but the rapid fire on this trumps the SB, plus you will need this if you plan on going after Skolas. Cuts through Fallen Captains like butter.
Abyss Defiant - Shreds hive ADS like no other primary weapon. Super helpful vs wizards when it blinds them.
Swordbreaker - bye bye Knights
Atheon's Epilogue - great in the VoG raid once leveled up
Praedyth's Revenge - Not a lot of impact for a sniper but it is like a scalpel in the hands of a skilled user.
Oversoul Edict - Good but not Great. I am just not enough of a fan of the Pulse rifles.

Good list. Only thing I'd change is putting AE at the bottom. I hate pea shooter auto rifles.

Thanks! Apparently I skipped past the upcomming Black Hammer nerf. That is going to suck.

Once upon a time it was the only Elemental primary I had. Only time I use it nowadays is during the Atheon Stage of the VoG raid since the combo of large clip/tons of ammo/oracle disruptor make it easy to take down oracles when I am teleported. Saves my Sniper/Corrective Measure to take down Atheon.

I finally completed a PoE 34 today, along with another 32.

I now have 1 each of weapon core, armor core and etheric light.

My Warlock is still at 33 so I could probably upgrade something for a 34.

Is there any point right now in ascending weapons? I've yet to do so with any since I'd never had etheric light.

Doesn't matter either way. No point in holding onto the EL since it won't be of any use in a few weeks, so might as well use it on something.

But getting to 34 would be more valuable.

I ascended my Deathsinger's Gaze helmet and now I'm a 33 and 1/2

Arc Shotgun at 365 is what you need to do Skolas.

I believe Iron Banner is coming this week so that would be an easy way to get 1 etheric light via rank 3.

Getting to level 3 is easy enough if you work the bounties

But again, I have to bring up the Sooner clause here. And we have seen him play.

Winning will get you to Rank 3, and that isn't as important to individual performance, but luck.

If you wait til Saturday, sunday and Monday to play iron banner, with all of the bonuses you should have no problem getting to level three on multiple characters. Regardless of how crappy you are. Coming from someone who, as Scott is quick to point out, is crappy.

Sooner is great to do PvP with .... he stands in front of all the gunfire for you
