I wanted to bump this thread as this was the last game (blood dragon) I played on my 360 - which I am definitely keeping by the way - couldn't imagine selling my 360 or the games, it was a greast ride for me.

It was fun but damn those missions were way too long. the cheesiness of the story was good although it didn't make me laugh too much - the final fight was hilarious. I actually liked the world you're placed in - feels cool and I like the way your safe as long as you stay on your base.

So long Xbox 360....

The end of Blood Dragon was so satisfying. Really should play it again sometime.

:up: Beautiful Graphics all around, but....
:up: walking wasn't a chore and I did it like 90% of the time, no vehicles needed.
:up: Shooting all around much better and near damn perfect. Love SIGNATURE weapons, just bad ass.
:up: Outpost to stop spawning enemies.
:up: hunting wildlife, using them to attack enemies @ outpost and seeing a tiger chasing deers and others... just fucking sweet.

:down: ... the weather effects which were basically none and fire effects look like crap.
:down: taking a lot of damage, sometimes by just falling a bit or stumbling
:down: fucking fire enemies at outpost making me use too many health syringes!
:down: wildlife attacking when you least expected and draining your health or a pack of them killing you.

and the skill tattoo is just so damn :cool:


overall loved this game so much.. took me under 30H (had to go back postgame to get distracting enemies with rock achievement) to finish 96% (skipped THE TRIALS...). I had so much fun that I continued with every collectible (including all fucking relics!) and challenges even though I was at max level for a while.

I cleared an outpost using a FLAMETHROWER (was going for achievement). So when the takeover/flag raising/saving screen was showing, I saw shit was burning high and noticed fuck there's gas lines in the middle. I said out loud 'I hope it doesn't blow them up", it fucking did and burned me to death!

Agreed that the weather was pretty weak, it only occasionally rained. One of the first abilities I went for was the one that reduced damage when falling, one of the next was reducing damage when driving. I have a tendency to just hit the gas and hope for the best. I also did all of the trophies except for the coop ones.

Blood Dragon is awesome. Lots of awesome.

I loved Blood Dragon; probably my favorite Far Cry experience - just wish it was a little longer with more to do.

I played through FC 4-6 after everyone else. I expect to try #3 sometime.
