I thought there was thread on this and didn't see one. There's a new "Interactive Video" up of actual gameplay showing both styles.....stealth and armor. I've always been a fan of the Unreal Engine but you have to be amazed at the results of the CryENGINE 3.....simply stunning.

I assume that video is running on either a PS3 or Xbox360 since there are a lot of low res textures. The original Crysis on PC still looks a lot better. The consoles are quite dated and really holding things back at this point.

When's this coming out? Loved Crysis 2.

Yeah, Crysis and Crysis Warhead really put Crysis 2 to shame. I also prefer the setting of the former games. Crysis 3 looks more like Crysis 2.5 so I'm none too impressed. The only thing Crysis 2 does better is that they got rid of the aweful radial menu.

I've seen late December this year and mid 1st Qtr of next listed. I haven't played Crysis 2 yet but a friend who has liked it and said it was pretty fun and actually long. From what it sounds "3" takes place after "2" with New York in ruin and covered up by jungle.

Crysis 2 was fun and the graphics are some of the best I've seen running on a console. The cryengine3 looks amazing. The game became way to easy on the second play through though since you got to keep your abilities learnd form the first play through.

I've been impressed with the Frostbite 2 Engine (Battlefield 3 and upcoming MOH:Warfighter) but this is really impressive. I'm playing Crysis 2 on the 360 and frankly have never seen such realistic water effects that good. If retail, online, and PC Makers want to increase sales of the PC Gaming market I'd be show-casing both the Frostbite and CryEngine 3 demos left & right. Even with "720" and PS4 coming, I'm actually thinking of adding a gaming pc for the first time since Unreal Tournament.

I just completed Crysis 2 this past weekend and am really looking forward to part 3 now. February cannot come soon enough.

I'm actually on the last mission now. Haven't decided if I'll go back thru or not at a higher level. I only lack a few collectables. it's been fun except for the few bugs but visually impressive. I'll get "3" for sure.

You can go through hard mode pretty fast since you get to keep all your earned skills.

I started Crysis, Crysis: Warhead, and Crysis 2 at the same time. The character control refinements made me stick with Crysis 2 but I will eventually go back to the other two. Definitely looking forward to Crysis 3.

$20 pre order credit up on Amazon. Kind of crazy that it's already coming out in a couple weeks.

My XFX 6850 Black Edition isn't even a year old yet this game makes me want to build a new gaming rig.

nice to see amazon coming back with the deals...newegg is nice, but I like my games the day they come out...

Also note that pre-orders will include a free download of the original Crysis for Xbox 360, PS3, or PC. Wish I hadn't bought that off the XBL marketplace a few months ago, but at least I'll be able to sell/trade the code.

I'm in. But not for full retail. I think I got Crysis 2 for $25.00 on Amazon a month after its initial launch.

I just replayed Crysis 2, and it's as great as it was when it first came out.

Fuck Halo and CoD, Crysis is my favorite first-person-shooter this cycle, and I cannot wait for this one.

The multi-player demo was underwhelming IMO. Hopefully the single player campaign is as good as C2.

Well, I hardly even touched the MP of the last Crysis, and still felt that I got more than my money's worth.

Same here. Played through the game twice and maybe a half dozen MP matches.
