I find it harder to find the riddler thugs to get intel. And they run off sometimes! Bastards making it harder.

Here's the tank setting.

It's really a shame that technical issues are ruining the experience of what is otherwise a really fun game for so many. I was thinking about building a new PC in time for Knight, but bought a PS4 instead. I feel lucky I made that choice.

I will say the puzzles involving the Batmobile are pretty good and inventive. It is the driving around in it that is a chore.

I only got to play an hour or so of this, but so far I'm liking it a lot. I don't find the Batmobile onerous at all, I like how it handles both as a car and a tank. In fact, I've barely done any zipping around the city--by choice! I mostly use the Batmobile to get around.

That's pretty much unprecedented. Steam refunds came at just the right time.

Wow, they're halting sales? Shit, I figured they'd just give PC owners free season passes or something.

I guess the team doing the PC port was just 12 people who only had 8 weeks to do it - it's a wonder it even ran.

So, after they delayed the console version for months to get it right they tried to port it to PC in 8 weeks? That is pathetic if true.

12 people isn't that crazy, but the timeline certainly sucks. Crazy that they would actually pull it, but stupid that they released it in this state. Should have just been like GTA and delayed it.

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight - 6/23/15 on Xbox One, PS4, and PC

Played for about an hour and a half. So far so good, but... it's more of the same. I guess I expected a bit more... but I still have a LOT of the game left to play, so we'll see. I just "met" Arkham Knight for the first time at ACE.
The tank/batmobile controls are a little odd, but not terrible. I'm managing fine.

In the beginning when you're at the GCPD, there's a random no name prisoner that starts talking shit. I went up to him and attempted to punch him, and Batman grabbed him and slammed his head into the bars knocking him out

Regarding Barbara/Oracle -

Spoiler:
Kind of cool to see the Killing Joke reenacted.

There's been a few moments that have made me jump early on in the game, and again just now flying around the rooftops. Kind of neat, while it's more of the same Batman i'm really enjoying it.

I was impressed with the freebies given in the PS4 version. Three separate codes, for the Scarecrow Missions, Harely Quinn Challenge rooms and some Batman skins. Also got a code for some Waynetech thing from Best Buy. Think it just gave you a few basic upgrades to start with -- no big deal, but better than nothing I guess.

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight - 6/23/15 on Xbox One, PS4, and PC

Played for another hour or so last night and the Batmobile is growing on me. I'm still now blown away by the game, but admittedly had set the bar pretty high based on Asylum and City. It's definitely fun though. And I'm surprised I haven't happened across any Riddler trophies yet. Seems like those were popping up fairly obviously and early on in past games.

I tried that, but it wouldn't work at all until I got to the mission that told how to do it. I did the exact same thing then and it worked fine. I'm guessing the game actually requires you to get to that point to unlock the challenge vs just doing the dive.
