Damn. That's a good deal (Rage for $15), but I don't think my PC is "good enough" for it. I'll wait until the 360 version hits that price, if ever.

Skyrim is $40.19 today. I already have it for 360 but I am going to pick it up for PC as well.

So when do Singularity, Metro 2033, Just Cause 2, and Sam & Max Complete Pack go on sale? And why is Portal 2 $14.99 instead of $8.74?

Quick, hop in your DeLorean and crank it to 88 MPH. Those were first day sale items. New stuff for sale every day. But the last day of the semi-annual sale is always a "Greatest Hits" sort of thing, so some of those deals might come back. I'd bet at least the Portal 2 deal returns.

BTW : Not a Steam sale, per say, but Amazon is selling Dead Island for $12.99. It will give you a CD code that has to be redeemed on Steam. Great deal -- too good for me to pass up.

Great Scott!

But, seriously, I didn't know those were the day 1 deals and I'm sad I missed them.

It's a good day for the sale, as Sonic Generations, Bulletstorm, and Bastion are heavily reduced. I'm glad I didn't bite when Amazon had SG for $15 the other day, as now it's $10.19 on Steam.

Yeah I bit on Sonic Generations. That was too good to pass up.

Re: Steam Holiday Sale 2011

Even though I wasn't a huge fan of the game when I rented it from Redbox upon release, for less than $10 I picked up Homefront and all the DLC. Can't really get much cheaper than that any time in the future (maybe $2.50 less at most) and I hear the multiplayer is (or at least was) fun.

May I just say how much I vehemently hate the new way during this holiday sale that Steam "lists" the games that are on sale? It takes me several minutes of clicking to even see what's on sale and for how much.

This has been annoying me too. I wish they would just include the names and prices on the main page like they have done in the past.

Re: Steam Holiday Sale 2011

Yeah, I hate it as well.

By the way, I have some miscelanneous stuff I won that I will trade if anyone is interested. I have coupons for 25% off a Valve title, 50% off Two Tribes Pack, and a gift for Killing Floor and Defence Alliance 2. Don't plan on using any of them if anyone wants them.

Re: Steam Holiday Sale 2011

Some good stuff today.

Bioshock 1 and 2 $5 each
Rochard $5
Dead Island $20
L.A. Noire complete $12.49
D & D daggerdale $5.09
Grid $3.74

So this was the last day of the sale? Or will there be a greatest hits day tomorrow? I hope Batman AC shows up.

I guess I'll order L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition, Batman: Arkham City, and Portal 2 for a total of $44.97.

Picked up Bastion this time around. I'm liking it a lot so far.
