Yeah, thanks.... and I lost my Heisman-candidate running back and best player on my team for the entire year in the first quarter. Pyrrhic victory, perhaps. I also spent an entire hour convincing this guy to stay at Michigan for his senior season. Ugh.

I had to change my entire offense when he went down. With him, I could pitch and run outside and even try an option every once in awhile. Without him, my backup is pretty much a glorified fullback. No pitches. No options.

I was having a terrible time passing the ball. I was mashing buttons and Robinson just wouldn't throw within the right timing. Johnny was running man coverage all night so timing was rather important. When I got down two touchdowns I really kind of gave up on passing. Too frustrating, too difficult with the off-timing. So I ran the ball and ran the ball. I'd run up the gut until he collapsed his entire line into the center and then I'd go off tackle. I'd have paid good money to hear his commentary during that fourth quarter when I was running a two minute drill, hurry-up offense with something like twelve-consecutive rushes up the middle of the field.

Either he wasn't having any lag issues passing or Oregon's offense is that good or Michigan's defense is that bad... (all of the above?) but he seemed to have no trouble throwing against my coverages. I had to blitz everyone just to make a difference. Twice I was trying to switch between blitzers and the delay caused me to unwittingly take control of the DB covering the receiver. And we know how that ends...

Really, though, I won because he got cocky with his passing game and tried to finish me off in the 4th... I intercepted on the goal line... and so it goes.

cocky is a gentle way to put it. I've known him since high school. He has balls the size of watermelons and will tell you all about it. He texted me this morning about the game and mentioned about getting greedy and not beeing able to stop your running game - he wished he could have skipped Japan and spent 5 hours trying to keep Lamichael James.

Yawmush and I played our game, it was a one score game at the end of the third but I turned on the jets and won 42-21. I had less than 200 total yards on offense, but my 4 interceptions and red zone defense picked up the slack.

I think it was 42-14. It was very close through 3. I actually scored an offensive TD against you. That was nice.

I kept mixing up blitzes, zone coverage and man to man coverage. found 3 effective defenses and rolled with those. My secondary is beastly.

calling timeout with 1 second on the clock with a big lead at the one yard line (so that the two opponents can have a verbal handshake without getting cut off) = -100 sportsmanship points

yes this happened. I was gonna take a knee but then nic jumps offsides. and we laugh. and I douchefully score from the half yard line. I was on edge throughout the game and I didn't feel good until I had a 3 score lead.

Aha! Now I see it. Apparently I had two EA personas (?). Once I selected the right one it let me load the dynasty. Before it just wouldn't load anything.

Normally I do my recruiting online. I just haven't been able to because I've been training someone at my desk for the last 3 weeks.

I haven't been maintaining the thread like I normally do because we have been shortstaffed and I am unable to have access to my usual computer at work.

Just finished my recruiting online. Had to wait a couple more minutes at work anyway. Stupid thing glitched and I lost an hour on a QB I was targeting. HATE when that happens.

Week 3 is ready to go. I will advance the dynasty next Tuesday night.
