Yeah, I only played the game once, and then went to all the boards to talk about how great the game was. Never returned to get all the achievements or play the DLC I got.

But I can't wait!

I don't want to wait, but I probably can.

@majornelson: We can confirm that this new "Alan Wake" game will be a fully standalone experience and released on Xbox LIVE.

I predict card combat with a splash of tower defense.

Actually, I'm going to guess it'll be episodic in nature. We'll end up buying three 1200-point releases.

The first game would have been great as an episodic, although that still remains a marketing plan that never seems to work.

They pretty much have to if they still have a 2gb limit on XBLA games. All the acheivements and stuff will be tied to one title. Like pfx2 and family game night.

I'd much rather have a disc. No download times, no HD space used (after I'm finished playing), no waiting between episodes.

But whatever. I'll get it either way.

Also, I'd like to propose that the title be Alan ReWake. They can use that, but they have to pay me. Same for Alan Wak3 and 4l4n W4ke.

Forgot about this game. I have wanted to get it (the first one) for some time now...hmm maybe after I finish Dead Island.

I think the first one is literally free at this point.
