Wow, the M5 is a 370 MB download. Is that only for one car? Are they usually that big of a file per car?

No, that's the weird way they're handling this game's DLC. Checking the Marketplace DLC, it looks to be the same bundle of content (370.93 MB) whether you get one single car or the whole American Muscle Car bundle. I guess it's like downloading a XBLA game demo that's 1.5 GB then buying the game is just an unlock key -- except there are several different unlock keys you could buy for this game.

Maybe, or it could be a coincidence. I think it's just for Autovista, between the audio samples and the super high res model and textures.
Tried the "speed wheel" with the Forza 4 demo at Best Buy. It's cool and works surprisingly well, at least on easy and especially with the cockpit view. Provides solid rumble, you feel going over every bump. The steering works pretty damn well, which is surprising since I hate steering with an accelerometer on the iPad or using the Wii. The best feature by far is the triggers. They have a huge amount of travel and are very comfortable. It gives you better control over the gas and break than I've ever had with a game pad. Not yet sold on the steering after such a short play time, but I'm pretty impressed with the peripheral so far (at least for racing in Automatic Transmission mode). |

A coincidence that a single muscle car has exactly the same download size as a content pack of ten cars that includes that same car? Kinda doubt that.

What? The M5 isn't a muscle car , and it also isn't a part of that pack.

No. But look at the other cars available for individual download like the 65 GTO or the 64 Ford Fairlaine Thunderbolt. They are also 370 MB each. It turns out that the 10-car Muscle Car Pack which contains both of those cars and eight others is also 370 MB in size.

Re: Official Forza 4 Thread - If In Doubt, Flat Out!
Make sure if you bought the season pass and you want the November "Speed Pack" to get it from in the game.
If it isn't showing up grab the free VW from marketplace first and then go into the game and it will. |
Re: Official Forza 4 Thread - If In Doubt, Flat Out!
I wanted to buy this digital on games on demand but surprised to find it not available. In fact all the Forza are not on digital. It's baffling since all the other big exclusive titles are digital.
