Yeah, I thought I read somewhere that there was some mission based DLC that added to the story of the game. I guess I read it wrong or it got canceled or something.

Finished up the single player campaign today. Friggin' loved it! And when "Tears" by Health starts blaring while you're in the middle of the airport in the last chapter...so awesome! I'm probably gonna have to replay that chapter a couple of times for the heck of it.
Also grabbed soundtrack just for that one song too.

I got this during some sale about a month ago on XBL. Anyway. I really enjoyed, flawed aspects and all. That last level is all kinds of amazing badassness.
Funny playing that game, I forgot how cheap the enemies were at times. Well maybe not them specifically but the gameplay involved in a shootout.

Picked this up Friday for $10 and zooming through it. Nice graphics and gameplay (like the first two), but i feel there are way too many cut scenes. Just as it starts getting exciting it quickly ends and goes to a cut scene. Also frustrating at times when you try shooting when in cover and his aim is blocked by the thing you are stood behind. I will have this completed by tomorrow and feel its pretty good. A solid 7/10.

Replayed the first 2 games and loved them like I did back when they first came out. This was my first time playing part 3 and fuck!, from the beginning I hated playing this. No quick save or save option at all, failing missions at the beginning cause I wasn't quick enough. How the fuck I'm I supposed to find ammo & collectibles!!! That was first Act. Then the 2nd act, it got more difficult with these overbearing shootouts and quick deaths. So fuck it, I lowered the difficulty level and had fun playing it after that. At least after dying I was able to adjust and not get frustrated. And the 3rd act just got brutal. So not as awesome as the first 2 MP, but it was real good. Glad these were made Backward compatible.

To this day, if I hear a certain baby wail/cry, it takes me back to the first game where you get drugged and have to find your way out of the maze and hearing
baby cry the entire time.
I lived in a small apartment at the time and would play in the dark with my headphones one so as not to wake the (then) wife. I was a bundle of nerves and couldn't sleep after those levels.
Still creeps me out to this day even thinking about it.

So decided to replay it on Normal (original tried difficulty until I couldn't take it), anyway having all GOLD guns helped a lot and also knowing the game. I just fucking hated re watching the damn cinematic sections and not being to skip them all, only certain portions.

I really liked the whole series. 3 was different for sure, but it was a fun playthrough. There certainly were some sections I had to replay over and over again, like the airport, but that made getting through it feel like a triumph.
