9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors (DS)

Anyone played this before?
It's an excellently written game so far with multiple endings - in which college student Junpei is kidnapped on a ship with 8 strangers and forced to take part in a deadly game called The Nonary Game.
Imagine one of those old Choose Your Own Adventure books but VERY dark, or if you crossed Lost and SAW, or something, maybe this is what you'd get. The writing is fantastic and the characters seem as if theyre real. The game is M rated so can get pretty graphic at times.
A bit annoying that you cant skip puzzles on multiple playthroughs (multiple playthroughs in itself is great) and maybe the game feels its being a bit kind at times, but I love it, and dont want it to end
I imported a US copy as it isnt out in the UK.

The writing is cool but I hate not being able to skip any of it, it makes it impossible to play through it again for me. I also couldn't get over just how much swearing there was in the game, I felt immature for doing it but it made me laugh everytime.

That said I think this was covered in the Nintendo DS thread.

Apologies for that
I didnt mind the swearing after a while. I saw it as how most would speak in that situation.
You could skip the text after your first playthrough but I found it a bit annoying redoing puzzles I'd already done. I hope theres a sequel someday (3DS maybe?)

Why isn't it "Nine People?"

I dont know actually, you would think it would be "Nine People" wouldnt you?
Anyway, I really hope the success of this game means a sequel and more mystery visual novels coming to DS
