any PS3 NBA games with playable classic players?
Basically, the title says what I am looking for.
A Basketball PS3 game with Bird,Magic,Dr.J,Kevin McHale,Barkley, etc as playable players.
If not, any games that let you create classic players?

Those guys are all unlockable. Or you can buy an unlock code if you're impatient, iirc.

Well you did answer my question and I appreciate it.
However, let me add one more wrinkle. I was thinking of more along 5 on 5, maybe a career mode or season mode.

It doesn't have all the ones you list, but NBA 2k11 does have several of them. And it's the best basketball game ever to boot.

You're telling me the Mavs or Nuggets can't get a single, older player to be represented? No Rolando Blackman or Dikembe Mutombo.

Maybe they weren't able to license Mutombo. That's the problem with including players who are no longer active; they have to be licensed individually.
