Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection: worth picking up?
It's been around the 19.99 mark for a while and I've considered picking it up a few times, but keep telling myself it probably won't be worth it. I already have the Sega Genesis Collection on PS2 and the Sonic collections on Gamecube & X-Box, so is this game worth picking up? I've taken a look at what games are included in it and it doesn't look like I'll be able to drop the Genesis collection or the Sonic collections.

Up to you, really. For me it was a must buy. It's got Phantasy Star 2, 3 and 4 and the Shining Force games plus all 3 Streets of Rage. I have the other collections you mentioned and still bought this. If you're unsure, you can wait for a promo (buy one get one half off or buy two get one free offer)

This is, imo, the best classic system collection on the market. But you do have a lot of them already... tough call.
It seems you'd basically be adding:
Alien Storm
Beyond Oasis
Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine
Dynamite Headdy
ESWAT: City Under Siege
Fatal Labyrinth
Ristar
Shining Force
Shining Force II: Ancient Sealing
Shining in the Darkness
Streets of Rage
Streets of Rage 2
Streets of Rage 3
Vectorman
Vectorman 2
Phantasy Star (Sega Master System)
Congo Bongo (arcade) (under original title "Tip Top" in some regions)
Fantasy Zone (arcade)
Golden Axe Warrior (Sega Master System)
Shinobi (arcade)
Space Harrier (arcade)
Zaxxon (arcade)
I think thats worth it, though I'm a Beyond Oasis fan and having that alone makes it worth while.

It's relatively easy (along with any of the *hidden* games) to unlock though. This is one of the few retail games I've gotten all the achievement points for and had an absolute blast doing it. One of the best $20 you can put down for the current systems. And I have most of the old Sonic/Genesis collections as well (including an old Genesis too).

Totally worth it. Lots of great games, achievements/trophies, and it's dirt cheap. Unlocking PS1 is a bit tricky if you don't have a 2nd controller (I was able to do it with a PS3 remote control though) but totally a worthwhile addition especially if you like old sega RPGs.
