Persona 4 Golden. It's amazing , vibrant and beautiful. Great game. |
re: Official PS Vita / PlayStation TV Thread
Absolutely seconded. P4G is fantastic. Killzone is very good as well.

PlayStation Vita Pets?
I love Sony, but they really are shameless when it comes to ripping off Nintendo's original ideas... |

I know IGN mentioned a 5 hr playthrough, but I'm pretty sure it's closer to double that.
-- edit Howlongtobeat.com lists it at 6.5-8 hrs. (depending on whether you do extras/side quests). That sounds more like what I'm experiencing. P4G is by far the best game. Guacamelee I thought was great for the Vita too, probably my #2. |
re: Official PS Vita / PlayStation TV Thread
In case anyone missed it in my PSN Thread post, P4G will be on sale for $14.62 this next week in the PSN Golden Week sale. That's the lowest it's ever been and well worth the price, though remember it's a 3.1 GB game, so it'll take up a significant chunk of any memory card.

Pleasant surprise : I discovered that Dead Nation has come out for the Vita now and is a free download for those who own the PS3 (not the PS4) version. Not my favorite game, but good for a quick pick-up-and-play session.
Also to repeat what I mentioned last year : I played some Tearaway on the plane last week after neglecting it for a while. It's really a remarkable game and probably the second-best game on the system. It's so cool how they casually use every interactive feature of the Vita (gyroscope, microphone, front and back touchscreens, both front and back cameras) without it ever feeling all that gimmicky. I'll be playing and suddenly pass a picture I'd taken previously of me and my daughter, hanging on a world or hiding within a box somewhere in the level. It's like they took all the cool interactive features of LBP (except, of course, level-making) and made them cooler and more interactive. I know nobody but me buys retail games for the Vita, but if you were considering just one, this should be it. re: Official PS Vita / PlayStation TV Thread
Quick question. I received a Vita for my bday yesterday (uncharted, killzone, virtual tennis and 4 gig card)
Why can't I play movies that I own on PS4 (drinking buddies or 2 guns) on the vita? Thanks |

re: Official PS Vita / PlayStation TV Thread
I bought and downloaded them from the sony ps store off the PS4
|
re: Official PS Vita / PlayStation TV Thread
Check here.
You should be able to find it on your download list and then download to to the Vita - to watch using the Video app. |

The PS Vita doesn't support HD video downloads from the PS Store/Video Unlimited. You can, as stated before, go to the Download list for SD video purchases. |
re: Official PS Vita / PlayStation TV Thread
nevermind..figured out the issues with used games and trophies

re: Official PS Vita / PlayStation TV Thread
I purchased my Vita about a year and a half ago and had been having no issues with it. Until today.
I had mainly been playing games that only used the left stick, but decided to play a two stick shooter today. My right analog stick appears to be dead. It doesn't move at all. Googling this didn't bring about any solutions (a lot of reviews for The Walking Dead and Dead Nation though) Anyone encounter something like this and know of ways to fix it? I've tried digging out grime with a toothpick and blasting compressed air, but nothing works |

re: Official PS Vita / PlayStation TV Thread
Nah, I tried it with Dead Nation, Zen Pinball, Sly Cooper Vita, all gave me issues.
After some more tinkering, I was able to get it to be constantly engaged (when I wasn't holding it down) so, for example, in Sly Cooper, the camera would go in a constant circle surrounding him. That seems to be a common occurrence/flaw for many people's Vitas. Gonna have to research more into what their solutions were |
re: Official PS Vita / PlayStation TV Thread
Bummer. I've never heard of that problem.
|
re: Official PS Vita / PlayStation TV Thread
Oddly enough, I've only played PixelJunk Monsters and Flying Hamster for about the past month, and neither of those use the right stick, so I have no idea when it actually went out
|
re: Official PS Vita / PlayStation TV Thread
I can't confirm this yet, but I believe if you already own God of War Collection Digital Version on PS3, you should now be able to download the collection on PS Vita for free. Nice cross-buy bonus. Too bad I have the disc version.
|
re: Official PS Vita / PlayStation TV Thread
Yes, the glitch was confirmed on CAG, but PSN had removed the GoW Collection trials, so you can't jump on the glitch (getting Vita version free). However, if you had downloaded the GoW Collection trials for PS3 earlier, you can still get the Vita version free.
Anyway, I have the disc version for the PS3 and I'm planning to get the Vita physical copy as well. The Vita version has own trophies, I'm going to double dip :-). |
re: Official PS Vita / PlayStation TV Thread
Is there a way to see the PS Vita/PSP content I already own. As a long time PS+ user without a Vita, I amassed quite a few things, but they are mixed between PS3 and 4 shit and it's a pain to just scroll through an unordered list.
|
re: Official PS Vita / PlayStation TV Thread
Hell no! Unfortunately, there's no way to sort through everything besides scroll and scroll some more.
Sometimes, I'll go to the store website, sign in, select the Vita tab and it'll show you all the games you've purchased by saying "Purchased" rather than displaying a price. Still a pain, but at least you can sort PS Vita games, PSP Games and PS One games with the check box on the left side of the webpage. |

Sly Cooper is well worth the price if you haven't played it yet. One of the better Vita games to be released, IMO.
