I know it is more than a year away, but saw the trailer and thought it looked real good and there was a lot of love for the first, i believe.

The first one made me nauseated while playing. Too much spinning around to see where you were getting attacked from and too much shit on the screen at once. I'll keep my eye on this but it's not a day one purchase for me.

I loved the idea of the first, hated the mechanics. Since this isn't just being banged out quickly, I'm hoping it will receive a significant bump in quality, like the difference between Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2.

I actually liked the first one but just stopped playing it after a few missions....I do like the style and fee of the game...here's hoping this next one will have it all. It almost felt like the team who was making the first were just rushed along....doesn't appear to be that way this time around...from what it appears to look like anyway.

The first one is easily one of my top 5 for this generation. The freedom and powers your character had were very well implemented. I also loved watching the virus spread through the city. You could literally find the edge of an infected zone on the map, travel to the point, and then watch as the infected spread down the street attacking and infecting a new area. Soo much fun. Can't wait for part 2!

Sucka - I do agree the freedom was pretty damn surreal and running around on buildings and flying/falling to wherever was pretty damn incredible......I think my issue was also with it no being a sandbox style game....I think if I got over that I would have prob enjoyed it more.

That said...I think I should also mention that I am a sucker for any game that takes place in New York.

This is one game I'm not looking forward to, as I hated the original.

So this game came out this week. Anyone played it yet? I bought it but havent had a change to open or play it and was just curious to other's thoughts or reviews of the game.

I've been seeing the commercial, looks pretty good. But like a couple others, my copy is still unopened. Sad to say, I even own an action figure that sits on my desk at home because I thought it looked bad ass. Even funnier, I think if you pre-ordered the 2nd one, you got the 1st one free. I really need to get through my pile of shame
